Tbh they picked up 11 points from their last 12 games last season including losing their last 4 games so it's been on the cards

Strange that it wasn't done last season. They've basically wasted a pre-season now, although Sheffield United were a tough outfit.

I have been told by a couple of PNE fans that last week, there were strong rumours of physical bust ups at training, plus fans have wanted him gone for a long time. |

Apparently said he enjoyed Monday to Friday coaching the players and dreaded Saturdays, at that point it's game over.
Timings horrendous but fair play to him for not dragging it out for 10 games waiting for a pay out

I spoke to him at the Crewe v Stoke friendly, he said he was looking forward to the new season and was aiming for a top 8 finish.
