It’s incredibly tedious hearing players give interviews and pundits doing a mediocre, time-killing analysis on the match. Any time I have the misfortune of sitting through it (eg whilst waiting for a cup draw) I do wonder who is actually enthralled with it?
Brian Clough was right half a century ago when he said there’s too much football.
