Can’t argue with his goals record but it’s uncanny how Bayern couldn’t even win the league title in a one horse race. |

In even more fairness, they didn’t even finish second 🙂 That’s true but Leverkusen had won the league in April and Bayern lost 2 of their last 3 games with nothing to play for in the league. Including losing to Stuttgart (who finished above them by a point) in between the two champions league semi final games. |

Tomorrow’s game but just got tickets for me and my two lads for Midtjylland v Union Saint-Gilloise in the Europa League. Should be a thriller…… 1-0 home win. Not the best game but a cracking little stadium (albeit out of town surrounded by farmland), tickets worked out at about £16 for me and £12 for the kids so can’t complain. Plenty of gaps in a 11,000 seater stadium so I’d say there wasn’t many more than 8,000 there? |

The Cannock Chase equal opportunities lge is struggling to attract entrants to their Thursday afternoon after Four PM competition.
Consideration is now being given to extending the geographical boundaries to the North of Stafford and even possibly as far as Trentham.
A consultation document is being compiled by the FA and it is anticipated that the consensus of opinion could well be that this may well result in serious debate involving Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters forums and groups further north such as Stafford Rangers and Port Vale and any other clubs in the area.
