He didn’t get many touches apart from one sublime assist that they didn’t score from. One heavy challenge but he got up ok so maybe tactical as it’s raining torrentially and want a bigger lad on as winning?

It still might be nothing. Other than that line in the Guardian, there's nothing to go on. And it may have been precautionary if it was injury-related. The conditions were appalling and they wouldn't have taken any chances.
He was subbed at HT, rather than went off, wasn't he?
If he's unfit, Bae will start on the left wing, which he may well have done regardless

I watched it and he had one heavy challenge but got up virtually straight away. I don’t think he was injured he was just not getting in the game. The weather was awful and I just think they wanted a bit more physical presence.
