It’s amazing how quite shit and mediocre players can produce absolute ballers from the depths of their scrotum. Mama is a legend but let’s be honest he was pants, Sol is unreal. Jason Koumas was steady and had a neck that needed a wide load sticker on it but Lewis is a champions league footballer in waiting. Alf inge Haaland another one…..a fairly average player John Terry another one, Shaun Wright-Phillips was class.

Very average performance tonight IMO That's not to write him off though and at 18 years old we should probably be at best looking for him to make a bit of an impact as a sub in the forthcoming season Gouranga. Agree. Looks too lightweight to offer much this season. Waste of a loan. So I made a comment on how he looked on his first appearance for us, which was as I posted MY OPINION, where the fuck did I say he was too lightweight? The fact that he's looked our best player in the last 2 games is great and if he turns out to be our 20 goal a season striker I'll be overjoyed. Never mind though, I'm sure you'll troll through the rest of my posts to twist them around and make shit up to suit your agenda. Gouranga.

You get arsey when someone doesn't agree with your kneejerk reaction and then get arsey when they realise you were right.

Quality player, he's fearless and shows zero respect for the opposition.

Quality player, he's fearless and shows zero respect for the opposition. Exactly how football should be played, instead of the over-analysis that Schumacher appears to be guilty of just say to the likes of Koumas you know you’re better than the defender you’re up against, make a twat of him.

Best thing about Koumas so far is his off the ball movement, he's key to players like Manhoef and Moran shining.

Yes I did wonder how much of the free flowing attacking play last night was down to n ot having tactics and defensive duties imposed on them all week.

Looked more dangerous on the flank than he did down the middle. Full backs can’t step across him to block his runs like centre backs will.

Strange one as they had 4 or 5 big changes and probably the better side until the hour mark Bit of a reverse of Saturday where we missed enough chances to win although didn't play that well

He was rated more highly than Gerrard when at Liverpool but apparently had a shit attitude that continued for most of his career. Hopefully Lewis didn’t get his dads personality

It's refreshing to see his enthusiasm for the game with the goal celebrations etc. His confidence is sky high and he will only get better

Yep or as Brian Clough would have said, see that goal, kick the ball in it.

It definitely seems his best position on the little we’ve seen of him so far (though all the press around him seemed to suggest he’s a winger). However, I can imagine a lot worse front 3s than him up front, with Bae and Manhoef on the wings.

Looks like Koumas may be getting a start tonight. If so, will be a good test for him against Turkey.

To be fair, Fergie used to do that in Europe. Man U would go out V a side they were better than and he would change their shape and often lose . Wasn't until they were 2 down v Juve that they went all out and reverted to their own game and win 3-2 Managers do tend to over think things sometimes. I get if you're playing a better side but we got it horribly wrong v West Brom . Still..starting to look the part though and Koumas, Cannon and Manhoef have goals in them. Long time since we had that

Is he the “Rock the City” signing we always dreamed of?
Craig Bellamy must be a pretty good judge of a striker and his ability to handle international level.
If he carries on like he has then he could make a major impact this season.
