Sounds like Charlie Adam and Whelan have had an influence on the lad to come here which is nice. might be a good idea to loan a couple of our youngsters out to fleetwood we could use charlie as a scout for us if we keep on good terms,, there is talent to be had in the lower leagues

Viera … Yaya Toure … He’s been pushed out of Celtic, let’s simmer the expectations a wee bit and see what he’s like 10 or so games in. On paper though, great signing. Johnston isn’t rated by Celtic fans and probably Rodgers either but we’d take him here in a heartbeat, was class for Albion For every Mikey Johnstone you’ve got a Sead Haksabanovic …

Hoorah. He's going to be an interesting signing. How tall is he?? 6'2 but looks way bigger. He's the opposite to Stansfield who is apparently 6'1 but look way shorter 🤣

You can compare a players style to another one without getting carried away. Like saying someone looks like a famous actor(ress), but buy saying that doesn’t mean I think they’re gonna win Oscar’s.

Stoke's first-ever palindromic signing? Good spot The closest I could come up with is Viv (Busby)

We've been waiting for someone like this since Nzonze left. He looks a powerhouse of a player.

Doesn't say how long he will be out with his injury. I assume it must be something very minor to go ahead. Especially having ditched the French bloke

Not wishing to put too much pressure on him…..but…..I’m getting a “missing piece of the jigsaw” vibe.
And he’s young.
And he’s on a 4 year contract not a loan.
Things are starting to look much brighter.
Throw in Hoever, Cundle….Cannon or Stansfield….and maybe one more experienced no nonsense CB.
And I’ll settle for runners up.

Well , welcome to Stoke City..however, what is this short term injury that the powers that be doth speak of? Hopefully not like when Hughesy thought Bojjer's had taken a lttle bit of a knock or 27 minutes of gallagher before he's out for a few weeks with another calf injury. Good to keep the faith though and maybe some Clubs put off BUT what is the injury?
