I watched Clint Eastwood in Unforgiven again this week, it was well worth another go. I'd like to rewatch all the old Peter Greenaway films from the 80's...i reckon they'll have stood the test of time. Basic Instinct is still my favourite film of all time, and not just for THAT scene, it's got a brilliant script, score and scenery and crackles from start to finish. I saw Peter Greenaway’s Drowning by Numbers years ago in a London cinema (possibly the Scala but I couldn’t swear to it) - Superb film that I’d love to see again.

The Cruel Sea Primal Fear (the twist at the end is epic) Uncle Buck School of Rock Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare Towering Inferno Top Gun
There’s many more I can’t think of but avoid The Mercy, Emma and the Black Klansman.

Snakes on a plane, what was that all about 🤔 I’m still working on a sequel. Bears in a Submarine. Sounds good Hedgehogs on a bus Not really thought of the plot yet but would star Robin Askwith and Chris Biggins of course and perhaps the cowardly bloke from Blake's 7 Perhaps mutated, angry hedgehogs. Regular ones wouldn't be much good and would be silly.

Even better , in fact brilliant A Twister hits Bedford ( not sure how or why...leave that one to the weather folk or blame it on a nuclear spillage ) a a frenzy of hedgehogs causes mayhem near a nice pastry shop on the River Ouse. Courting couple Edward Furlong and Rusty Lee must save the town from the wind swept ,prickly wrong doers

The Sting is my fave film of all time, must have seen 40 times Struggle to find current films I can sit through. I love old sci fi stuff like When Worlds Collide without the CGI etc Big fan of low budget B movies and horror more than your epics If we're talking B movies I loved Trail of the Screaming Forehead, Rubber, and The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra. Not to everyone's taste though... (in the 'rewatch' category)

Difficult to know where to start on this one! Broken down into categories
Old Movies (pre 1980): Where Eagles Dare - if its on (usually ITV4), I watch it! :-) The Dirty Dozen Kellys Heroes Blazing Saddles Young Frankenstein Any Monty Python film! Star Wars
80s: Lethal Weapon 1-4 Commando Rambo 1/2 Spaceballs Highlander Empire/Return of the Jedi
90s: (not sure I watched too many as was out a lot!) Independence Day Cruel Intentions (just for that scene lol) Jerry McGuire Pulp Fiction Dusk Till Dawn American Pie
00s: Am a superhero nerd, so fill your boots from here... Batman Begins / Dark Night / Dark Knight Rises - watched this trilogy a stack of times. The best Batman films that will ever be made. Lord of the Rings trilogy. Utterly breathtaking filmography and storytelling, I'll flick them on if on Film4 etc and boom, there goes 3 hours National Treasure Mr and Mrs Smith - have watched this lots of times! Team America - World Police (funny as) Iron Man!
TBH are loads of good films here inc some Bond with Daniel Craig, Bourne with Matt Damon and even XXX with Vin Diesel!
10s - Dominated by Marvel for me! Not going to list them all, but I have watched Avengers: Endgame at least 12 times, and still get a chill at 'Avengers.......Assemble" Of the rest, Capt Amercia:Civil War is immense. And the return of Spider-man to the MCU - great fun and watch if its on.
Deadpool I can watch over and over!
(Watched #3 on Tuesday, what a film! Funny, violent, on the edge of decency....Ryan Reynolds was born to be him)

(in the 'rewatch' category) One of my favourite B movies is Return of the Living Dead - an 80s almost comedy version of the zombie classic - still a bit of horror but all tongue in cheek Then we get to Peter Jackson and his early classics Braindead and Bad Taste! Also any Japanese early Godzilla films - ace.

If a film starts with . Based on true events it always raises my interest. A golden oldie was on the other nite I still can't get my head around the fact it was based on true events. All the president's men. Great performances by Redford and Hoffman.

A lot of the films I'll watch again and again aren't necessarily the best, but I just know I like them. The common theme is usually comedy and violence.
Rush Hour Drive Beverly Hills Cop The Equaliser John Wick Beethoven Step Brothers Training Day Uncle Buck Moneyball
