Very strange signing. Not exactly an enforcer, not creative, just a steady tidy enough midfielder. Not sure he’s what we need at all.

Wasn't overly impressed with Gibson, mainly due to age but this one would be the first one that is completely baffling. Hope there is some mistake with this link. I wasn't even impressed with the South American wonder kid, we simply don't need any more deep lying midfielders we need at least two less.

Is he any better than what we’ve already got? It's hard to say when you don't watch someone every week. But I'd say not better than any of the current starters in midfield. |

I can see both Laurent and Baker leaving before the window shuts, so we need more bodies. I don't know anything about Wintle, but hopefully he can be a more steady Eddy than Laurent and Baker who too often become passangers.  |

I don't know anything about Wintle, but hopefully he can be a more steady Eddy than Laurent and Baker who too often become passangers. We have no need to replace them if they do. Schu only plays one deep lying midfielder and has too many options already. We need Cundle type AM's. |

he was decently rated when he left Crewe and I wanted us to sign him then but at this point it feels very underwhelming
