Lawal is an absolute joke of a signing, today's news is still don't know when. Given this injury was picked up during his medical and therefore before we actually signed him is an absolute joke. Any more crocks in January SJW ? We could have pulled out of signing Rory Delap !!!!!

The Lawal injury was described as minor when he signed 🙄🤣absolute joke when he’s exactly what we’re crying out for Minor in terms of the general population maybe but not to a professional athlete on thousands a week. Seems the club just don’t learn We did our due diligence though didn't we, that's the main thing. We gave him a medical, discovered he was injured, then signed him anyway.

tricky one. Can’t see him making Wednesday. Hopefully him coming off was precautionary. He didn’t seem to be in huge pain not sure if it was a contact injury.

You can’t be sure that he’ll be as good as he can be straight off.

If we’re spending a big sum of money on a central midfielder you’d hope we could find one that hasn’t got a fractured back, but it seems we decided to rely on Jon Walters’ tiny book of contacts.

Maybe they were reacting to the suggestion it was something minor, and maybe some of them were the people who put blind faith in Jon Walters. I can say for certain that if you’d told me our new expensive midfielder wouldn’t have played a single minute so far while Jordan Thompson masquerades as our midfield enforcer and we bum around the relegation zone again, I’d have said let’s find someone without a fractured back instead.

I can see this Manhoeff injury turning into something more which will see him out of action until he completes his move away on deadline day.

www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/stoke-city-injury-news-portsmouth-9590148Million Manhoef will be assessed by Stoke City's medical team ahead of a big mid-week home match against Portsmouth. The key forward was withdrawn early in the second half of Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Middlesbrough. He had treatment for a leg problem on the pitch but Narcis Pelach explained that the forward had also been under the weather. "(Manhoef) was not feeling well and asked for the change,” said the head coach. “He will have to be assessed."

www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/stoke-city-injury-sam-gallagher-9630129Sam Gallagher is expected to miss Stoke City’s return to action this weekend as he continues to be assessed by the medical team. It is likely to be next week – after a Championship clash with Norwich on Saturday (3pm) – before scans can give a clear picture. Lynden Gooch’s prognosis is far better than initial fears.......he is working towards a comeback late next month. Bosun Lawal is understood to be champing at the bit to be involved, waiting for the green light to join in training

So what have they been doing for the last 9 days?? I am not a doctor but scan and results for a footy player a day or so?? I smell horseshit and JW not wanting to give us the negative news.
