Macclesfield thrashed Witton Albion 6-1
Buxton (v Kidderminster) and Hednesford (V Shifnal) go to replays
I think that's the last of the localish interest still going on in the qualifying rounds, unfortunately.

Macclesfield thrashed Witton Albion 6-1 Buxton (v Kidderminster) and Hednesford (V Shifnal) go to replays I think that's the last of the localish interest still going on in the qualifying rounds, unfortunately. Is it 1st Round Proper next? seems so difficult for these lower tier teams like Newcastle, Kidsgrove etc to make it to the 1st Round. |

Great game at Hednesford v Gainsborough Trinity. Hednesford have sacked their manager, so it’ll be interesting how this affects things as I’d had Hednesford as slight favourites. Would have loved to have gone but Stoke supporting duties come first (sigh). Across Staffordshire, the somewhat beleaguered Burton Albion are playing Scarborough. ‘Boro are in the National League North and I fancy them to pull off a shock or at least run Burton close.
