Personally I feel that the Huth/Walters link will see us land both Cannon and Souttar. That helps High probability both play regular helps Re Cannon our connections to Everton and Ireland and Ryan Lowe will all help after that it's down to money and the competition Presume Leicester are getting a striker in themselves?

Bring them in from somewhere else then, or develop Tezgel. Loaning in Cannon will probably cost 6 figures + the inflated wage. Screw him, find someone who is ours and stop papering over gaps. Great how are you going to develop Tezgel to play in the championship in the next few weeks. Neither steroids or growth hormone even work that quickly. Interesting heard more than one fan yesterday say they've noticed Tezgel has grown a lot

Interesting heard more than one fan yesterday say they've noticed Tezgel has grown a lot Nowhere near enough to play against championship defenders. Which is the exact opposite of what others said haven't seen him live this summer so will sit on the fence Saw Lowe yesterday he's definitely filled out and taller Loan out to a league 2 club and he should thrive

Which is the exact opposite of what others said haven't seen him live this summer so will sit on the fence Saw Lowe yesterday he's definitely filled out and taller Loan out to a league 2 club and he should thrive Neither are anywhere near physically developed enough to be playing against championship defenders. They look like what they are kids. Obviously people will have different ideas as in you don’t think we need a physical CF.

Loan isn’t papering over… You can pick up better players loaning than purchasing or developing from youth team. We need the strongest squad possible however they come. Who was the last player who improved us when coming in on loan? They’ve all been a gigantic waste of money.

Who was the last player who improved us when coming in on loan? They’ve all been a gigantic waste of money. Baker Fair point. A player who is pretty much an anomaly of a loan nowadays. Nowadays, Championship teams are expected to develop players who aren’t ready for the division in the hopes that they’ll eventually be good enough. Cannon looks like he could be good enough but because he does, he’ll cost a fortune. We should just start saving money, buy our own players and have a longer term strategy.

Can you direct me to a story of him joining us on loan. I’m fearing I’ve been in a coma.

Much prefer Cannon to Gallagher, as I like the CF to actually score goals, unlike the BTA/Gallagher mould. Problem with that is they’ve both scored more championship goals in a season than Cannon ever has. I’d much prefer Cannon but those are the facts. How many minutes and for which teams has a lot of bearing in these matters. Cannon scored 8 in 20 for Preston and 2 in 13 for Leicester (10 in 33, averaging 209 minutes per goal) BTA has 18 in 72 (257 min/goal) for WBA Gallagher has 50 in 265 (341 min/goal), although over a lot longer period. He also has 22 assists, which bring his min/goal+assist down to 236) Both BTA and TC have 2 assists in total I think Cannons stats are way better, but hey, don't let facts bother you.

Because you’re trying to dictate what is being compared. Simple fact they’ve both scored more goals in a championship season than Cannon. You don’t seem to be able to accept that even with the qualifying statement that I’d miles prefer Cannon to Gallagher too. BTA scored 11 assisted 2 in 41 games last season I think that’s kind of relevant.

You'll just have to accept that there are quite a number of people who'd like him to go out on loan and come back when he's even stronger than that then. I think some people confuse strength with feistiness Joe Allen was feisty but I'd never describe him as being physically imposing.

It's like they've got all carried away on Manheof and Junho and don't seem to appreciate how much those players contributed to the football which was a joy to watch.

Not sure that would make us competitive, when every other club in the division have 5 fringe Prem players turning out for them. loans haven’t exactly helped since we came down , been a lot of bad ones
