His display v Pompey was what we needed but he does have a bad injury record. None of the others can play that role so we need to adapt somehow, good test for the coach and agree letting Mmaee go is stupid, he would have been a decent second option to play with Cannon.

As I posted the very second at Swansea its a point which wil seem extraordinarily costly and will change the sesoswns trajectory if hes our for months which he clearly is , and now it has its allo about 25 points by the new year now and how we can scrambled to them to give us chance to do something meaningful in the jan window . Huge shame but we signed two players as the pain we of the team one we know had a back fracture and the other who was paying less and less games good as he is . All about survial and consildatiin now and I fear this will impact the Cannon situation badly . Naive to leave him on at Swansea’s too which the head coach has admitted . I said around 70minutes he should be subbed off. He's a player who you've got to manage his minutes. His race was clearly run that day, prior to the injury, yet they let him play on. "I'm sure that bull will be fine in that china shop".

Out for 3 months I’ve heard Probably right, he’s on holiday in Dubai so if it was short term you’d think they’d keep him at Stoke with the physios

We have a to get a similar player in January now albeit I suspect this news may well be a trigger for a Cannon exit who will really struggle without him

We do need to get a replacement Benji, if he's out for 3 months. I think it's the first time I've ever agreed with you.

Speaking to a couple of rovers lads at work today.
They laughed a lot when i said he's only played one game so far. They said that's a bonus as he's usually only good for 45 minutes.

Surely the club must be waiting to see if the injury settles down before their next move because if not he’d be having treatment daily and not in Dubai? I wonder if there’s more to this story than the club are letting on and I thought Narcis looked a little sheepish when Ange asked the question about him earlier 🤔

Surely he’d fancy a loan back home for half a season? Fits the bill all round

Free agents still available? Choupo Moting?
There must be some available who we can afford?

Is this fact about being in Dubai? I really don’t know mate, I was just going off what was said in this thread rightly or wrongly It’s been pretty obvious since it happened there is a reluctance to declare the real extent of the issue for whatever reason and the vacuum that creates is a space these rumours can thrive on no matter how incorrect or correct . Such a shame as he’s a very good player at this level but his absence is clearly an embarrassment for those who took a risk on him v other options and ignored his appearance stats , coupled with Lawal it looks extremely naive and certainly strategically is a huge issue given when they are fit .We have a new set of problems with the front 5 all likely to leave next summer so a outside shot at the top 6 has turned into survival and another huge transition likely to lead to another settling error st best

I was thinking it too, obviously not as good yet as Gallagher, but he's not doing to bad at Walsall, so his confidence will be pretty high!!!
