It's disappointing but we need to learn to be effective without him

According to a few on the match thread, he told the physio it was cramp so we might've gotten away from it.

It was cramp, he said it to another player while being treated. Dunner panic

Thought he said cramp to the physio on telly. Hopefully that's the case as I've been impressed with him this week.

Should be fine.

Excellent player. But he wasn't involved much for a good chunk of the middle.

Seemed leggy and slow today as did everyone else. Hopefully only a cramp and the break helps him get rest.

He looked comfortable enough walking off the pitch at the end.

The international break has come at the perfect time for us. If it's just cramp you'd think he will be back for the Norwich game.
My biggest concern is how we will fair in this set up when he's not involved. Vidigals cameo was positive and Tezgel did ok when he came on but Swansea looked gassed by that point.

Tezgal can’t play the role he plays. The only one who potentially could is out on loan. Of the options Id play Koumas alongside Cannon and play Manhoef.

When Gallaghers fit one of Cannon/Koumas should be playing alongside. Koumas has been quiet since he's been asked to play out wide, far more effective through the middle, so I'd drop him for Manhoef.

He was outstanding wide right in the cup at Middlesbrough and I thought he played really well wide v Pompey too But yeah he ought to fit with Gallagher if Cannon isn't on the pitch

Pelach said they'd assess him tomorrow "because they have doubts between if he's cramping or a hamstring, but I don't think it'll be a massive injury, if it is"
"His numbers were through the roof against Portsmouth We had the biggest load in the last 6 yrs in one half, I asked them to go again, and they did. Maybe I could have changed it earlier, but he was giving so much and he's a pro and he knows his body"
"I think he'll be fine, but we'll see tomorrow"

Don’t think he looked gutted enough for it to be anything serious. Cramp would be the most likely event after two big performances in four days after an injury.

Their players had a ploy of when they knew were losing possession , go down and win the free.
Noticed how in the Gallagher injury, he'd put it past their player and he just went to ground in front of Gallagher's run? Their big centre back did the same, ran across Manhoef's run when knew wasn't getting there and created the contact. Of course that bozo was going to fall for it every time.
Was one first half when a player had the ball dinked past him and threw himself on the deck appealing , unfortunately for him was no one with 5 yards despite his protest and even that fool couldn't give that one.

Sounds like he'll definitely miss Norwich and Bristol City minimum, so it'll be interesting to see how Pelach tweaks things in his absence

Not sure Tezgel can play that role yet, apart from that we have limited options, especially if Gallagher is out for a month or so.

Fucking hell he does look a proper sicknote.
For a big lad he doesnt half dash around the pitch putting in tackles. I think he needs to take things a little bit easier and not break his body continually.

Be lucky to see him this slide of the international break we specialise in death by a thousand cuts where key injuries are concerned. I also note no sign of lawal in the videos so thats new year, big question over the thinking on recruitment to have both your big physical players high risk decisions

Can't believe people thought that was cramp, it was the most obviously hamstring strain you'll see.

Ennis has trouble getting into the U21's team at the moment and they are crap, so I think this may be a bridge too far for him🤔

Yeh, he’s not great but at least occupies defenders. Whatever we do, we’ve seen the difference playing two up front can do so as long as we don’t go with an isolated striker, hopefully we can pick some points up before Gallagher is back for two games then sick again for another half dozen 😂
