An absolute pain in the arsenal whenever we have played against him and definitely the right DNA amongst the flair of Bae and Million. I see Ipswich were after him and their manager got most things right last season.
Goal scoring record is worrying, Dwight Gayles was very good.
It depends what you are looking for really.

Wouldn't mind Gallagher, but if possible I'd rather have BTA here!

2019/20 - 29(15) apps - 7 goals, 5 assists 2020/21 - 24(15) apps - 8 goals, 5 assists 2021/22 - 29(10) apps - 9 goals, 3 assists 2022/23 - 30(9) apps - 7 goals, 3 assists 2023/24 - 23(4) apps - 5 apps, 6 assists Speaking to Blackburn supporters and he's always been a good foil for a regular goalscorer, doing the running, making space, chipping in here and there. Not really a 'back to goal, hold up type target man' though, despite being 6' 4" - I vaguely remember that was mentioned on a Blackburn podcast last year Trouble is we don't currently have an Adam Armstrong, Ben Brereton Diaz or Sammy Szmodics to get 20+ goals a season (unless the hope is to eventually pair him with someone like Cannon, which could work) Sammy Szmodics If you had asked a Blackburn fan last July if Szmodics would score 20+ in the coming season they would laugh at you probably. Gallagher is a great target man / foil, could help Juhno and Manhoef to a bagful. He is decent and 29 is no age.....trust me! And if you asked any Blackburn fan now if they thought £5m was a fair price they'd laugh in your face. What does it tell you other than a lot of football fans know fuck all and are extremely partisan. Forget football fans, sports fans in general. I followed some people out of Old Trafford the other night and one of them was saying Originals only scored 86 or whatever because of the light. Sorry I was rooting for them too but they only scored 86 because they were shit.

I would 100% take Sam Gallacher to inject some phyicality into our lily livered bunch.

Meh, he’s ok for a target man type.
But we need a number 9 steino type also. Little fox in the box.

Meh, he’s ok for a target man type. But we need a number 9 steino type also. Little fox in the box. We actually need a proper midfield around Burger and if we are to genuinely have a go at recreating Schu's system then we need one, if not two, goalscoring number ten/floaty wide types like Whitaker. Junho and Manhoef are more sit in the hole types that create for a mobile forward like a Tom Cannon, rather than the type to play off a mobile target man like Hardie or soon to be in our case Sam Gallagher.

I think our first team is and can be competitive, today exposed our very thin back up options, midfield is still way too lightweight for me, so many times we get pushed off the ball or people skip round our challenges.

He plays off the left not Centre forward. He definitely played centre forward against us at Ewood Park last season when he ragged our defenders about.

Maybe offer Ennis as part of a swap? Signing Ennis and Cundle in January caused a rift between Jared Dublin and SS. Was the reason behind JDs eventually exit. No chance Ennis leaves as it'll be the hierarchy admitting they messed up. Where’s this come from

I've just browsed their forum to see if there was any clue as to the position he mainly plays, or if he's been used as a wide option more often than a few times here and there and christ, they really don't like him. It's hard to judge given they've got the likes of Brereton, Armstrong and Szmodics to compare him to/with which would probably skew any opinions on top of the sheer toxicity they've got towards the owners (which as we know always puts a downer on all things across the board).
The general consensus amongst them is good athlete, dreadful footballer and that they might as well sign Lyndon Dykes (being linked as a replacement) as he's equally 'shite' but is probably way cheaper.

It sounds like he's the sort of player who would probably be a brilliant foil for Campbell.

Can’t see us spending 1 mil+ on a bench player, as surely when Mmaee is fit, Mmaee would be our 1st choice striker, I still think he’ll come good
