Prediction League - 2024/25 - Update after Round 4

Morning all

As for the past few seasons I've used the excellent (and most importantly FREE!) www.predictthefootball.com for our annual prediction leagues, and its all setup and ready to go again for 2024/25

If an existing player from last season, just login and make sure you are in the mini-league and get predicting, it should auto add you but worth checking!

If not, its a 2 min job to register, they dont pester with spam or email, and you are good to go - simply pick CHAMPIONSHIP, and start to predict


HOW IT WORKS:

Really simple format - predict the results of each gameround (ie Stoke 2-1 Cov)
You get:
3 points for a correct score (ie 2-1)
1 point for a correct result (ie it ended 1-0)

There are lots of bonus points for predicting out there scorelines (ie 5-0) or upset results (ie Oxford to beat Burnley away etc) - the computer does all that based on other peoples predictions

And thats about it bar remembering to login each week and do it (I've got a note in my work email calendar at the same time every week to do mine lol)


Once predictions are in, and you can do 1 week, 2 weeks, a month, the whole season if you want to, join our mini league (find the 'join mini league' button) using the code below
You can change predictions right up until kick off of any game

Usually have 40-50 at the start of the season, and a hardcore 25 or so who are still going at the end!

Was quite a close compo last season, after 2 years of being top or second I had a stinker in 13th!

I'll have to break it to niece Jasmin that predicting 2-1 for all 500 odd games only gets you third place - although on a points/time spent basis she walked it

Interesting first weekend and a slight runaway top place

Embarrassed that my 14 year old is in 2nd. My fault for bragging I had 4 pts after Fridays games lol
