Would be a giggle and probably better supported these days. |

I remember Vale getting eviscerated by Genoa in the final at Wembley in the mid-nineties, Vincenzo Montella and Tomas Skuhravy doing much of the damage. |

I watched Inter play Fiorentina in 1997 at SanSiro
Real Ronaldo played for inter Bastistuta for Fiorentina. They were both unreal, and both scored, but R9 was the best player (and performance) I've ever seen!!

I remember going this one as a kid and thinking how nice their kit was. Always had a soft spot for them ever since. There were some great Italian kits back then (and still to this day) The 3 stand outs for me were Fiorentina, Sampdoria and AC Milan |

Like the black and blue stripes. |

The fella dressed head to toe in purple with their fans was a chap called Cesare who worked in a restaurant in Nantwich, huge Fiorentina fan. Seem to remember he had a purple cape on as well . Stefan Effenberg also played for them that night Surely you mean F’ing Stephanburg ? 😉 |
