Could any of the likely Conservative voters help me out? This is a genuine question that I can't wrap my head around. The polls show that 20%+ of people are intending to vote Conservative. Without any reference to Labour, what part of the Conservative platform and the last fourteen years makes you actually want to vote for them? What makes them better than the alternatives? I cannot fathom it. They got brexit done innit ... Exactly what they didn’t do, that’s why the Tory voting public has turned on them. The great man handed it to them on a plate and they had no plan

It’s all fun n games on here tonight heh…. Persuade me ladies…. Who should I vote for…? Who has the most absorbent manifesto I can wipe my arse with ….? That's a fair point actually. Are shit smeared ballot papers accepted? I think if you can manage it in the booth and fold it nicely into the box it will go to the count. I think it would be counted as s poiled.

Farage was bigging up adopting the Norwegian model during the referendum campaign FFS! Farage handed them bugger all. He's a snake oil salesman without an ounce of actual integrity.

The great man handed it to them on a plate and they had no plan Farage said before TCA with EU was agreed that UK should leave EU "on any terms" therefore by definition any agreement was acceptable Farage said he would leave UK "if Brexit was a mess" He now says Brexit is a mess but I don't think he has any plan to up sticks EU as a relocation venue seems an unlikely destination as his application for a German Passport the day after Brexit Referendum was rejected but I'm sure his Mate Trump could Fasttrack a US Visa

People need to remember the draconian restrictions this cuntish government imposed on the general public during a flue outbreak. People need to remember that the Labour Party wanted restrictions MORE draconian and for TWICE as long. You are scraping shit off on shoe with the other.

Oohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh JEREMY CORBYN. No running off to America from the main man like Nige the Patriot. Corbyn will get a huge amount of votes for an Independent in a GE but will ultimately fall short as there will be too many people who will vote party over individual. That and the fact that Labour will throw the kitchen sink at that constituency when it comes to door stepping. I'm all for more high profile independents standing though up and down the country.............

Who the hell is advising him? 1st day of campaigning ....2 huge own goals (fake members of the public, and asking Welsh workers if they are looking forward to the Euros!) Its like he's put all of his own money (and that's quite considerable!) on losing this Election. Seems hell bent on self-destruction.

My best friend lives there and they even have a cafe which is a shrine to him. The people love corbyn in the constituency. In the last election he got double the votes of all the other parties added together. Unless there are 10s of thousands of expats from Islington crawling out of the woodwork after the gerrymandering act 2022, Jeremy will win.

I know it well, and my next door but one neighbour is a born and bred North Islington Corbynite (a taxi driver and Jewish socialist). Corbyn is as popular a constituency MP as you will ever meet, but the mechanics of the political system will leave him falling just short in my opinion. I hope I'm wrong, I'd love him to win and not because it's necessarily Corbyn but more for what it would do for potential independent MP's going forward.....

Sunak, Starmer, Biden and Trump. What a choice the yanks and us have this election year. How the heck has it transpired for this to be the choice we have. What the hell went wrong....
I've tried to rank them in terms of shitness and I can't settle on a result.

The best result from this election would be if Independents hold the balance of power.
We have had so called 'strong' mandated governments holding power and look where that has got us? We need something that challenges the 2 party system and Independents would be the only option at the moment so that decisions are made on a collaborative basis and where politicians are forced to enter into dialogue with those who have differing perspectives. Lib Dems had the chance to contribute to it previously but failed miserably and are rightly suffering for it now.
