Yes sadly seeing the 3 promoted teams come straight back down is bad news for the football pyramid

Glad Luton have come straight back down.
Fairytale my arse, filthy repugnant dingleberry of a football club.

Yes sadly seeing the 3 promoted teams come straight back down is bad news for the football pyramid I currently don't enjoy the Prem, it's stale as two month old blue cheese and very few surprises. Compare that to our league and the differences are night and day. I'm sure Luton and Burnley spent 'big' but it just wasn't enough. It's clear SHU weren't even at the races. It needs evening up somehow, otherwise you'll have the ESL by default.

A bit like us when we went down, none have any salable assets and have players on big wages. I don't think any will go back up.

All three promoted teams have come back down this season but all three stayed up last. It’s easier for teams from the middle pack to crack Champions League qualification than it was in the “big four” years. And although Man City have tended to win the league recently it’s very rarely been the procession it often was for Man Utd in the past or regularly is in some of the other top European leagues. There’s a lot to dislike about it these days (VAR, financial irregularities, media oversaturation) but stale is the wrong word.

It's the only place to be and we had some great times under Pulis and Hughes in the 10 years we were there.

Well judging from comments of Sheff U, Burnley and Luton fans on champo forums then they are all delighted to be back down!! Hated the Prem (losing won't help!!), prem fans and VAR.
It sort of makes you wonder what we are striving for?? Getting dicked in soulless stadiums with half scarvers, and the whole game reduced to a farce by some cunt in an office watching the replays.

The 3 down look like they could be weak next year. Burnley have had a worse team this season than they had last - very strange transfer business. Luton will no doubt cash in on players who have done well for them- i'm sure Barkley and even Doughty will have mid-table takers. Sheffield United however have the smell of a double relegation about them. Torrid squad. They do have Hamer, who will be quality at this level. BBD only on loan and has shown he can bag in the prem - BBD will have prem takers. Overall- a very open championship awaits next season. If saint/ leeds dont go - they'll have to ship some wages- as such next year, for me, is the year to really have a go if we can.
