Just seen a massive reduction on Macron only products, that hints to me there’s a new kit manufacturer.
If it’s Castrone? Then be prepared for awful quality kits, there’s been numerous complaints re the poor quality etc.

I don’t mind the Macron kits, it’s just the bad memories that are associated with them. |

I don’t buy them so unsure on quality but all the designs have been pretty good |

Would like a better manufacturer than macron. We have been shit ever since we had them. Don’t think that we are going to get the likes of Nike, adidas etc, but even the fail have puma. I kinda like Puma kits (except vales)

If you watch old Stoke clips,like when Sir Stans 1st stint at Stoke,we didn't play in white socks,the clips are in black n White, but the socks look like they were Red. Black & White. It's only since the 70's that white socks have been the fashion. Stokes were black with red top or red with white top for decades. White socks for fannies back in the day. |

Or just purely making sure all last seasons stock has been shifted out before the new lines are released. Was also wondering if these latest bits being sold off is ex player gear that's clearly now surplus and not required for matches or training. I'd imagine the new kit will be in the building as guessing a few of the players will have been used to model it before heading off on their hols. |

Yeah had a full kit when I was a kid in the sixties, the socks were red with white tops, can't remember the exact year it was. I had a boxed Umbro complete kit of the pinstripe design in the 80's as a kid. The shorts were red as were the socks back then. It seems people wanting everything to be white except the stripes is a recent thing doesn't it. Off on a slight tangent, I like that old shirt that didn't have a stripe down the middle, but a stripe either side of the middle instead, if that makes any sense |

The last time I remember Stoke having a huge reduction like this was when they had the old kit sale in Delilah’s. Selling loads of old stock, £10 or £5 for all the gear is a massive reduction even at the end of the season? I reckon we may know more about next season’s kit, next week Mr C, at part 2 of the kit design. |

For some reason I think we'll lose the narrow stripes, bright new dawn and all that. I do like the Olympiakos shirt from the front, not sure about the red dust sheet on the back though. |

I kinda like Puma kits (except vales) How do you define "better"? Qualitywise, Macron have been as good if not better than anything Adidas or Puma supplied in their time. In terms of design they've been consistently on-point with their stuff - with the exception of the blue and yellow "roadmender" training kit. Have a look at the Video from Hummel USA in the Tweet: link"Our Communities Aren't Templates - So they shouldn't be represented by one". - absolutely bang-on. If there's one thing that Stoke is about it's being uniquely individual as a City and a Club. Hummel obviously get that philosophy, and Macron did with their '72 Anniversary kit. We're not big enough to be treated as anything other than "Teamwear templates" by the likes of Adi/Puma/Nike. And their prices will no doubt be higher for the sake of a "brand". Personally I wouldn't mind Umbro or Hummel if and when Macron get the push. |

Do we know definitively if it will be Macron again for this season's strip's? Not definitely, but at the kit design forum the other week it seemed that they were still "involved" if the kit contract is up for bids again. |
