Does Lydon Gooch have the nickname The Brooch, and if not why not?

Very valuable member of next seasons squad given his versatility and experience and attitude , will also allow us to go to the wire in the window in some positions if necessary . Hey when our football improves, your typing improves!....pretty cool that. I guess it's cos you feel calmer? Got nowt against your usual typing by the way, not bothered at all by trivial stuff like typing and grammar, I can always tell what you're saying. And yeah, agree 100% what you say about Gooch

My little lad, 3 years old, does football training and to make things "interesting" for the kids they make things animals, superheros, cars, basically anything other than football. One of the things they call dribbling from one foot to the other is "happy feet" (after the film) which just ends up with the kids running frantically after the ball they've clearly lost. Can't help but see Lyndon in the same style as the three year olds and in the same way as a headless Darrel Russell. We don't need him AND Leris as a right wing back up option. Dont need Junior, Hoever (who we should re-sign on loan) and Gooch. Similarly at left back we should be seeking a young up and coming player and have Stevens / Thompson as options. So either we get rid of Leris or Gooch for me. Not a bad player, just not one we need based upon our squad build at the moment. I agree, and I’d keep Lleris over Gooch to be honest. Gooch is one of those players that’s never been good enough to nail a position down anywhere on the pitch but can ‘do a job’ as a fill in from time to time. I’d rather put a younger player in for games where he’d play. He’s a headless chicken, constantly in the wrong position and dives in all the time, without that pace to recover. A nothing player, although he gives it everything. I’d file under ‘ex Managers favourite’ along with Johnson, Ennis and Pearson - all of whom I think we need to shift (Pearson I wouldn’t be against staying but don’t think he should be a starter). Also, Lleris is fantastic in the air, never seen a player as dominant as him and very very handy away from home when we need to go long. He seems to win almost every header he goes up for despite not being the biggest
