I missed the last home game as the missus was in in hospital but I have to say that I really enjoyed the 0 - 0 draw today!! I thought it was an open game with the usual crap refereeing. Fuller could have/would have scored a hat trick on another day The fans got right behind the team from start to finish and the last time I can remember that happening at home was err - last season!! Long may it continue

With the cup-draw and a mini-unbeaten run, there does seem to be a bit of a buzz starting again.
Imagine what could happen if we kept this up until after the New Year, then made a couple of Hendrie/Berger style signings in January? Even miserable bastards like me would start to get excited!

Yeah, i even found myself being mildly satisfied with a nil-niller and even being entertained in the process. Must be the Christmas spirit or somethin'
Still bloody cold though!

IF we can beat Blackpool next Saturday, the West Brom game becomes massive for us and it should be a Christmas cracker I'm hoping for 20,000 without any ticket offers for that one. There does seem to be a buzz and I think it is creeping in that with a couple of quality midfielders we'll be in the top six come May. To be in this position is a real credit to TP and his staff.

As nil nil draws go that was pretty entertaining.
We deserved to win it, but hey. What can you do.
The West Brom game is a £25 (boothen) 'premium' match. Cant see it being a massive croud. A few lads i meet at half time who come everyweek, but dont have ST's, already say they wont come at that price with us being at home New Years day then the Newcastle match a few days later.

Yeah I saw that in the programme POS.
West Brom should bring 3,000?
20,000 is stretching it considering the price (and time of year) but if we win on Saturday it's what I personally would be hoping for.
16,000 seems more realistic that said.

We level of crowd we should attain and will attain are different matters entirely.
I'll go at 14.5k.
Though in fairness, £25 is expensive, and coupled with the time of year, mediocre crowds are to be expected....

lord_b, i would be surprised if there was any substance to it to be honest, why the fuck would anyone want to go to derby? i know we have little or no influence over ryan, but i reckon he will be here for the rest of the season at least. i would have thought that going to a club and getting hammered every week would not do much for a young players confidence, whereas being at stoke he gets to experience a more physical division with the reange of results, this surely will make him a better player.

I think there might be... . I will be the first to admit I wasn't TP's biggest fan when he came back, but, slowly but surely he is starting to win me over. A 0-0 draw against the league leaders is no mean feat, even there manager said we were the toughest opposition they have played against. Salif coming back has also put a big smile on my face, although not originally bought to the club as a full back pugh has been real find there as well. Another midfielder and hopefully phillips showing his true potential thus allowing cresswell up front would be awesome.

they are so stupid having these premium matches, they might make extra few quid from the baggies fans but they will lose more from the stoke fans who willdecide not to go and obviously the players will lose out with having less stoke fans there
also on the back of last nights sentinel at the bottom where they have ticket info im sure it was advertising it as normal prices
