We absolutely did mug Leicester for £15m. He was never worth anywhere near that. He was a bang average centre half. Don’t get me wrong he was decent but certainly no where near Premier league standard and that was clear for all to see. Collins on the other hand was a stand out player of our recent era. he was head and shoulders above the rest. It was clear to see from the day he made his debut. I think if I recall correctly he captained the side at 18. He was miles better that Souttar from the word go. You're fucking bonkers. He barely even played for us in his own position. You are quite right. And even being played out of position he looked outstanding!!

No he did. He captained Stokes first team at 18. Completely dominated areas of youth Football for Stoke that shouldnt be at that standard. Just because you aren't aware of it doesn't mean it didn't happen. He played very few games for our first team as a CB. He was therefore fairly unproven in senior football. You won't have seen him but I can tell you in Under 23s you will have never seen a CB like him.

Collins was a far better prospect than Souttar and has gone on to prove that. During his partnership with Souttar he was a far better defender, he did the basics whereas Souttar caught the eye for coming out of defence carrying the ball…….not defending

Almost £4M for Cresswell is way too much in my opinion! Look abroad and you'll probably get a better player for one third of that!

I really don't give a f... who is the better of Collins or Souttar, but if Souttar is possible on loan for next season I certainly want to see him back at Stoke!

Elliot Anderson from Newcastle to Forest, again due to FFP..
1. Newcastle must've been in the shit 2. The rules aren't fit for purpose.

Our only mention for Nixon this morning, little snippet at the end.
Luton chase Palace babe … and in mass fight for another
By Alan Nixon
Luton Town have asked to take Crystal Palace midfielder David Ozoh on loan in a double deal.
Ozoh has been in the Palace first team but is likely to be sent out for the season to get regular game time.
The Hatters are keen to give Ozoh that chance and are also hopeful of winning the chase for Eagles wide man Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.
Luton have also asked Nottingham Forest about midfielder Lewis O’Brien on loan for the season but they would prefer a sale. Norwich City fancy a similar deal.
Blackburn, Sunderland, Stoke and QPR have all asked for Rak-Sakyi - with Palace keen to loan rather than sell.

Yet on a football pitch in the championship he wasn't. One was rated as high potential the other was far more proven in the league below. One plays for the most data centric, statistics driven team in the world. The other can't get in Leicsters B team. Most data centric, statistics driven team in the world. Really?

You won't have seen him but I can tell you in Under 23s you will have never seen a CB like him. I’m sure I’ve heard the same about Liam Delap. Now he might turn into a top striker in the men’s game but his initial season in the championship was pretty awful and his second a bit better but by no means outstanding. That’s the difference with Souttar you were paying for something that had actually happened not what people however knowledgeable thought would happen. I can’t see how for the life of me an outstanding young championship CB was over priced at £15M moving to the premier league.

It's forcing a player to leave who doesn't want to go as well, it's just wrong. So if Stoke want to move on Laurent and he wants to stay do you think they shouldn't try to persuade him to go? There are so many factors that make that situation different. Contract situation, the fact we’re over stocked with CM’s. That we keep playing him as an AM and his output is quite terrible from that position, his age, probably his wage, the HC’s preferred way of playing 2 8’s who create and score goals. We really need to shift the balance of our midfield to reflect Schu’s way of playing.

What can you expect when 2 clubs have been docked points as a direct result of hanging on for a proper price for homegrown players who have zero value on their balance sheets (Anthony Gordon Brennan Johnson) The system is perverse so anyone with any sense will try to circumvent it. Clubs are just coming together to help one another work around something that is clearly discredited in its application and even it's purpose is questionable. I mean it's title is beyond bizarre, Profit and sustainability they're having a laugh.

Raki saki - some player but also sounds like a dish I'd order.
Some of these psr deals really need looking at, surely.
Trouble is how.
