An excellent win. Southampton might be faltering, but there was a time not long ago where we'd have folded in matches like that. We really do show glimpses of something, if only we can build upon it and do it more consistently.
Great work though! Credit where it's due to the Schumacher and Walters dream team.

Finally broken my away day curse which has lasted 24 years since my first away game at Notts County. What a fucking win. I know we're largely shit but I don't see how you've managed that (unless you only go to x1 away game per year). It's either that or you're the unluckiest man alive. Went a few when I was younger and went the odd game here and there. Then been a few this season. Neutral venues don't count so today is legitimately the first away win I've seen.

Another gritty determined performance. We are beginning to look like a team at last. Well done the lads and Mr Schumacher.

You've just reminded me; Rowett is in interim charge. Next Saturday has the potential to be glorious.

Fantastic! And 2 clean sheets in a row! I have been trying to convince myself that I wasn't getting stressed at the thought of going into the last game of the season needing a result, but I can now admit that I was lying to myself! I hope everyone is going to have a great weekend!

On reflection the point at Hillsborough has proved to be a very good one. That’s an excellent point and very well made. Even the point V Hudders Was vital we didn't lose those

Excellent today. Why are are we so inconsistent? Last two games have been like watching a side challenging for promotion - which makes the rest of this season all the more frustrating.

One goal is never enough to settle your nerves but looking back that was way more comfortable than it felt watching it. Great result, well deserved and another very good team performance. Well done Stoke and am looking forward to a much happier season next time round.

Well, that was kind of coming, the balance upfront provided by Million, Junho, Cundle clicking and Tyrese finally deciding to look a threat was going to happen. The defence also has balance and with Jord and Josh putting in the miles, we actually were half decent.
Saints did not paly badly, we actually outplayed them and with 9 shots on target, we were marvellous. That has to be up there in our top 3 performances of the season. A very nice end to the season indeed.
