I don't know how I'd go for this one. We beat Hull by being physical because they weren't a big side and Leris did well against the LB. Unfortunately, Sheffield Wednesday are a much more physical outfit so if we go for that approach, I'm not sure it'll pay off. Can see it being something like: Iversen Hoever McNally (possibly Wilmot but wasn't on the bench?) Rose Tchamadeu Thompson Burger Laurent Haks Campbell Leris After last night Wednesday bullying us is a real concern. Swansea seemed to want it more. We have reasonably decent players but are low on heart desire and character. Worried that we’ll get a tonking Saturday

Not worried about bullying as such Dozy play yes
The goal we concede far too often is the quick ball in behind, can't see Wednesday doing that
Obviously play like we did v Swansea we will lose to anyone but we saw after Norwich debacle an excellent response
Think this might be 0. 0

Just concerned about our inability to fight and dig in. I can half accept technically shit players, but no balls and no fight I cannot. Wednesday will beat us with their fight and spirit. It will be lions v lambs I’m afraid to say.

With so many poor players at the club,he may as well pick the starting 11 out of a hat.
No matter what team & tactics he picks,a vast majority of the team just ain't good enough to do what is asked of them.

This season we seem to be play with more freedom away but after Wednesday's showing I'm a little concerned. I think aslong as we match them for effort we should beat them but given our season, who knows? I'll have a good day on the beer and a sing song regardless.
Edit: We need to drop Laurent, just has not got the backbone we need for the run in. Play Baker or Thompson or both.

We are more than capable of getting 3 points out of the next 12. Take away that Swansea result and we've actually looked half decent recently.

Quick tip, let the toffee cool down first. Less burning.

The fans can take a loss but we have to lose the right way and everything about that Swansea game was wrong. Even after the match Laurent was interviewed, where was his aggression? Where was his anger? It was so half arsed, it lacked so much care and pride it was more oh well we lost we shall try next time. These players are in a relegation battle and there is no real leaders to kick eachother up the arse when things aren't going well.

It was dire but if we'd been given that goal, things could easily have turned out differently. We are a typical Jeckyll/Hyde bottom half of the table side. We don't have any leaders and most of us wouldn't be bothered if the entire team was replaced but we should still have enough to get the points we need.

I've been thinking about tomorrow quite a lot this last 24 hours.
Wednesday night is done, gone. It was an appalling performance but we need to park it, shove it away and try and forget about it. I was furious with the lot of them on Wednesday.
But tomorrow is a huge chance to get out of the mire.
Without this being a call to arms, tomorrow we need to do the business and the brilliant 3500 fans going all can play a part. For once Stoke, just win a game we desperately need to.
If any players are reading this, you need to do everything you can to win the game tomorrow.
Any post mortem can happen once/if we get to safety. Head coach included.

anyone a bit concerned about Burger and Junho and their all of a sudden lack of form Felt like Burgers performance on Wednesday night was one of someone who was either sick of being surrounded with shite or one of a man who has checked out and will be asking to move in the summer

Just get on with the game! Had a poor game, but that has been a rarity by far our best player this year. And i'd be arguing if I was surrounded by them lot

It hasn't happened very often. Burger was rightfully moaning at the ref as well. We complain that our players don't care just accept injustices without a fuss and then one of them moans, he's criticised for doing just that. At the end of the day, we are such a poor team that the players can't win no matter what they do anymore in reality. We've all checked out from them and are counting the days until most of them disappear (Hopefully). It's a shame they are crap really because in the main, I get the impression that they are all good lads. They just aren't very good.

We've got be the only club that signs 17 players and only 3 of them make us any better off, going have to sign another 15 this summer

anyone a bit concerned about Burger and Junho and their all of a sudden lack of form Junho is exhausted, he runs himself into the ground every game. Was lay flat on his back at end of wba game..needed a rest v swansea not flogging even further. Burger is carrying an injury and has for the last few months. He got strapping on his legs, probably playing in pain making the injury worse and can't believe what he has signed for. Both good players. But both struggling with amount of games and physicality of the long championship season.

Just get on with the game! I noticed this vs Huddersfield. Clear foul in the middle of the pitch against us, no card rightly so, he went up to the referee having a moan instead of getting on with the game. There is a line between showing captain qualities, organising / encouraging team mates, discussing decisions with referee's etc and doing it the 'right' way just as in any line of management / leadership role.

I don't think we have bad players, a couple of decent signings and we have a decent team but we do have a poor dressing room. Some of them seem to accept a bad performance, I don't think our players hate losing anywhere near enough, they just accept it and with no real leaders to get that little bit extra out of eachother they are still going to struggle to stay up. We are more than capable against most teams in this division IF we turn up but we don't know which team will turn up

The officiating is piss poor in the championship. It does feel like we get the rough end but if you asked fans of every other club they would probably say the same.
