I think tomorrow is absolutely massive. Our home form is a disgrace, we need to back up the great win at Hull, with a solid home win for what will be a large expectant crowd..We must not let our fans down, yet again..

Wouldn't it be nice if we just spanked them good and proper? Like Reading and indeed the Terriers last season, or Barnsley in the Covid season when we were in the relegation mix.
We have ground out some decent results in the last few games, but it's been much less watchable than when Shuey first came. I hope we can get Burger and Bae really firing and Mmaee scoring in the next few weeks. If we can do that I'd start to have hope for next season.

Out to 22s for relegation with Sky which is as big as we've been since early December. Hopefully winning this one can put it to bed. Still obviously nervy though and a calamitous afternoon could have us right in it again Might just have a tenner on us at those prices in case it all goes horribly wrong

Tomorrow is the biggest game of the season for me. I’m hoping that we actually turn up and put in a performance in front of a big crowd at home for a change. Usually, when we put on a cheap offer and get a big gate it’s a damp squib that ends in disappointment.

Unexpected away win against supposedly tougher opponents…
Belief lifted…
Ticket offer to boost the attendance…
Let’s hope we can avoid…
“Slipical Stoke”…

We have to avoid defeat at all costs 0-0 a point each which is no use to Hudders is fine for us, but just burns another game away and they are still be 5 points behind us

Putting them down as ten times more likely to survive than us seems a leap.

Watched the Blackburn v Ipswich game, found it difficult to see how Blackburn are in such a perilous position. They have the leagues top scorer and looked strong, especially second half. Ipswich were very average. Can only put it down to player confidence and momentum.

We will need to match the physicality for sure. Leris stays in as he’s such a useful outlet when going long. I’d bring Bae in for Haks and burger for Cundle baker for Thompson (incase we need him at LB, it’s a lot to ask of stevens). Side note. What Stevens has shown is our first signing in the summer needs to be a competent leftback. The balance he added was crazy. Mad thing is we’ve been saying to bring a left back in since pieters left. Erm your forgetting the super mobile and athletic Stephen Ward. 😂

Ideal for away games. Just utter shite for a game you should be winning. If you’d read my post you’d know wouldn’t you. He’s a good out ball, wins far more headers then he should. works hard defending too the key to today is not losing.

He’d pretty much nailed on a fullback slot in our last season in the Prem. Bizarre how his career has slid downwards since then. All because of one mistake. He’s the only player who visibly improved under Jones in that first season. I thought he was going to really kick on after that goal against Norwich.

A win today would be massive for a couple of reasons. One, it probably sees us safe barring an absolute calamity and, also, it might put an end to Huddersfield. If we can make it so they’re more than a win from getting out of the bottom 3 then at this stage, that could kill them off. Depends on other results as well but they’ve had their rally and then slid down the table again, can’t see them making another recovery. In my opinion, they probably are the second worst team in the league anyway.
We have to win today. Please.

I can't imagine Swansea being caught on eight points ahead with seven games left.

I though that ths was going to be an easy one for SCFC given where Huddersfield are but I'm having doubts. If Huddersfield lose this one they are almost certainly going to be relegatedso they will be fighting for their lives.
I'd set Stoke up for a draw. One point will be invaluable for us today. It may not be entertaining but it is vital we don't lose.
For us oldies who was the Stoke manager who said something along the lines "if you want entertainment go the the circus"?

Alan Durban. I see what you mean, but I think setting up for a draw will mean we will lose. We need to go for the win.

This is for me the biggest game of the season, we simply have to perform in front of our own fans, a limp home performance just won't be accepted again.

I'd settle for being bored stiff if Stoke manage a point. It's a vital match for both teams.

Getting nervous now.
Today is so big.
I just don’t remember us stringing a number of wins together for ages. Let’s hope today changes that and we put in a great performance in and get the 3 points.
Really hope we go for it and take it to them from the start.
Just hope the ref isn’t looking to make a name for himself and keeps us at 11.
