If Stoke were a cheese what cheese would they be? I’m thinking Brie, overrated from the start and a bastard that breaks your crackers when trying to spread. In others words we got excited by players that are overrated and they cause damage to us. Can this thread please take off cus I do think it’s not shit bin in worthy. Stilton cause you're left with the taste of wet dog in your mouth and you wondered why you ever bothered in the first place

I am always hearing people shout cheese-us at the games and having a meltdown, we are all feeling bleu at the moment, but I am sure we will move on to grater things and everything will brie alright. Things are not looking gouda at the moment, but I am going to be mature and not give edam about it and hope we don't crumble like a rarebit in the headlights and at the end of the season hope we are all not crying like babybels Even I am cringing now - I'll get me goat(sorry coat)

Dairylea spread. Nice occasionally if someone bothers to take the foil off the triangle. Generally does fuck all until it goes mouldy. Can spread it about with minimum fuss and unlikely to create any danger but can make a mess of it and can’t really be used for much else. Can be easily cut through though, possibly even easier than a knife through butter.

You've nailed it. However I will put in a bid for Magareci Sir - Serbian donkey cheese. It's a thing.

One of those ones that are wheeled out at Christmas, Wesley(see what I did there? ) dale, cranberry, pistachio, whisky and some other random ingredient. Looked good in the package, sounded like a quality, fancy purchase to impress but stands around on the cheeseboard helplessly whilst being constantly bypassed by the winning classics of Cornish Cruncher and Stilton. Then having been dragged out reluctantly again on Boxing Day, fails miserably to get a result against the French stuff that came in a dodgy hamper and is transferred to the cheese sin bin substitute's bench of tupperware before being transferred to the food waste bin on New Years Day, having yet again proved it was just a waste of money that was never going to work when up against proper cheese.
