Seems to remember if we'd beaten them under MON we'd have gone top or did I imagine that ? Terrible ref decision, Krul misjudged a corner, ran into our player and ref disallowed the goal . Krul knew what he was doing from the second he lost the ball in the air. 2 draws at home since relegation, and they beat us 3-2 during Covid when there was no fans in the ground...... I'm thinking the 3-2:was the Krul game Just ran into a player and went down

Even if not, we've had some stinking decisions against them over the years.

10 yellows. Out for next two games. Nice and fresh for Huddersfield though. Irony is that had he got a second yellow late in the game on satdee he would have had a one game ban. Surprised the manager didn’t spot this and tell him to get booked in 90th minute? That can't be right can it? Would it not have ended up as a three game ban, two for ten yellows and another one for the red? Sounds like a ridiculous loophole otherwise.

Not sure because that would mean being punished twice for his 2nd yellow wouldn’t it? You’re probably right though because the loophole would have been exploited already

If Pearson doesn't play in the place of Burger, it pretty much signifies Pearson has no future with us moving forward. It doesn't actually. Pearson can stay here as long as his contract runs, which is 3 more years (plus possibly another year option). You can't get rid, because no one will pay his excessive wages. Do you then have the man on higher wages than anyone else sit in the stands for that amount of time or do you try to change his behaviour? At the moment it looks as if Schuhmacher is taking the last option, but his wry smile in yesterday's interview suggests to me that he won't stand for any further misbehaviour.

Our recent record v Norwich is poor, no win in 6 and hopefully we can change that tomorrow. Personally I'd be happy with a draw.

Today is huge. Win and we can start breathing a little easier. Lose and we’re back in it. Burger will be a huge loss. If Bae’s been impressing in training I’d be tempted to put him back in. Will SS stick with 3 CBs Id be tempted to go with 2. Will Stevens come back in? Lots of questions.

For me Stevens is quality on the ball and if fit should play, offers balance on that side, likewise M'waee is our best forward and if motivated and the other players are happy with him, he should play. Until safe, we simply have to play our strongest team.

Burger will be a huge loss. This may be shocking coming from me, but if Pearson is on his best behaviour and playing for the team, he could make us forget about Burger, for 90 mins at least. And 90 more vs Hull.

Key man for me is Gooch. He is the obvious choice if 3 at the back, but if we go to 4 I'd play Gooch as a winger.
We are bound to concede goals and to avoid defeat we must score. Gooch is our most creative player at the moment. In fact he is the only player who can "beat his man", even Campbell can't do that these days.
We need to keep rotating the striker role till we find one that clicks and starts scoring regularly.

I think Norwich will change their game and be a bit more cautious, defensive. They'll know our weaknesses and that we'll hand over chances through the game under no pressure. Could be a frustrating afternoon

As it’s shitting it down, I’ve broken routine and caned three sausage n cheese (ready made, heated up oatcakes), instead of my bacon orgy of oatcakes from London Rd, and I’m mixing it up by starting at The Staff and finishing in the Wellie. Hopefully these fine margins bring us the goals we need today.

A reminder that only Leeds and Soton are above Norwich over the past 10 games.
This is a real test today.
