As usual. Best songs out. Poland, Iceland, Australia. Worst songs stayed. Serbia, Croatia, Ireland. Aren't music supposed to be beautiful? They are doomed. As i have said before it is just bit of entertainment all about outfits and staging and less about music thus not to be taken seriously. I watched a few bits but we all have different tastes I found most songs bland and turned over to the football if they did not grab me the one or two with abit more about them were your least favourites Ireland and Croatia the only two i watched through. Enjoy the ESC musik and good luck to the host Sweden.

Sweden and Latvia my personal two favourites in the final then. With Ukraine and Germany as outsiders. As least Sweden and Latvia were songs I could understand.
The rest wasn't my cup of tea. Some were ok though, for instance France and United Kingdom.

I feel a bit sorry for the Israeli Eurovision singer. She is not allowed to leave her hotel, has to have police protection to get to the venue and is likely to get boo's when she is on stage as she did during the rehearsal. She is only 20 years old. I have sympathy for the Palestinians but the situation in Gaza is not her fault.

I have sympathy for the Palestinians but the situation in Gaza is not her fault. On the other hand she’s more than aware of what’s going on and justified it to herself to represent her country in the current circumstances. Second favourite to win at 7/2 too which makes sense given how the public vote works.

She chose to sing a political song, there was bound to be a backlash in a Swedish city with a relatively large Palestinian population..........

From the brief snippets I've seen, the Israeli girl deserves to win for being just about the only half normal act in this clownfest.

So protesters can behave like that but not Israelis. Half of these primates who call themselves protesters used to call anyone who had a go at Israel anti semetic and holocaust deniers a few years ago. I hope she wins. It's pure bullying and nothing else and to suggest it's ok for us to do it because a foreign government ( not her ) does it then that says it all.

Get your money on Israel lads. Just think they'll win a bit like Ukraine. Boys like Starmer and Sunak will have their phones automated just voting constantly. Probably use our taxes to pay for the phone bill too.
Note: I've not bet on Israel. But didn't Ukraine win recently too? Just feels like its on the cards.
