15 goals a year? He's a greedy cuntbag, which you would think is a good thing! BEST STRIKER IN THE DIVISION? CRESSWELL NEEDS THE NOD AND NOW! The only player who looked like scoring! H

You are right he is greedy but I dont think he will carry on missing chances. Just needs a break and more will follow, I just wish he would play more with Lawrence and whoever is playing up top with him. You can see Sidibe, Parkin, Lawrence and Cresswell all getting angry at him when they were in far better positions but he chose to run round 5 players and end up with nothing.!!

Greedy is good when he is scoring, which he isn't! Cresswell needs putting up front now, and if that means mama going then fair play.

Yeah again I agree. I would prefer Sidibe to play just behind Cresswell and Fuller with a midfield of Pugh/Delap - Eustace - Lawrence - All depending on whether we choose to stick with Dickinson, who defensively was solid today, just his distribution was questionable, then again every Stoke players was.

Mama does bring something to the team though.
He didn't have his best game today, ok, but he takes the knocks and hits...which takes the pressure off the rest of the team. When he was out for the two home games we conceded 7 goals.
I'm not saying that was solely down the Mama's absence, but looking at the bigger picture I still think he brings something to the team. He'd benefit from 2 quality CMs.
That said, I thought we looked more dangerous when Parkin came on.
I think if/when/if/when Diao signs, we'd be good enough to put Mama on the bench and have one of Parkin of Cresswell upfront.

Mama either needs to score or be dropped soon. I know he provides this, that and the other but the fact is, he's a striker and the centre backs have more goals than him. That's not good enough imo. As much as I like him and I do his drought is wearing a bit thin now.

Bayern even though Mama had a right old buffeting today, he was taking 2 defenders and at times 3 out of the frame. I think Watford were a very strong side and had done their homework well not allowing our players to get a propper head on the ball. However the Ref let them get away with a lot today IMHO.

When you can spell then come and speak to me. Amazing that not only do people on here agree with me , the actual commentators from the match concur with my thoughts. If you think any different then fair play to you, but you are living in a different world. If Fuller scores more than 15 goals this season I'll eat my hat. The fact is Cresswell is more of a predator up front and obviously gives more of a shit.

Interesting that Birtles (I think it was) kept saying that on the TV. It was a good point, he created oen or two chances for himself, but even better chances for other players if he looked up.

My point exactly Mystical, if he had bothered to look up on several occasions there were better options. I love Fuller and think he is a class act, but today he was awful and it's time for Cresswell, who looked the only bloke on the pitch worthy of a goal to be played in the position he deserves. Sorry Mama but its time to go, unless we play 3 in midfield.

so Fuller, as good as he is has to score 15 goals
exciting that he is, the goals he does score he still doesn't come up to the mark
One of the best players I've seen in a Stoke shirt for 38 years of watching
But hey , what do I know , fuck all
I don't really care where the goals come from, as long as we beat teams like Sheff Utd 3-0 away don't give a fuck
I know one thing, FULLER IS QUALITY
Spell check on
hope the footballing dunce hat fits well

Fuller is wonderful and frustrating in equal measures He most certainly should have squared that first one on one for Parkin and Lawrence, IMHO. But at the same time, he's the only one that would have taken Jackson on like that and got there in the first place. There's not many in this division I'd swap him for

If you had a brain you would realise I am questioning all the 'Football Dunces' on here who reckoned he would score 15 - 20 goals this season. The man has a bit of class , which is obvious, but does he utilise his potential? I don't think so. He is a striker and that is where he is played, and if he is not notching, then he is not doing his job, that is a fact even the dullest of simpletons can work out, today he was lazy and unobservant, if you saw different then again thats fine, but we could have had 2 maybe 3 goals today if he could have been arsed to look up. Like I said, Cressy should be played up front with him, which might take some pressure off.
Also why don't you post under your old name on the Oaty?

Wright had a great chance in the second half. It was one on one, but he pulled it back, and it came to nowt. I think Fuller would've been greedy and buried that one.

he holds it up well and we really miss him when he ain't on
granted mama wasn't that good today and Fuller was at times poor
its easy to statistically say Fuller should score x amount and Sidibe y amount
but together they are a right handful

We should have beaten the top of the league by at least 2-0. I have always had a lot of time for Ricardo but today he was a selfish barsteward and cost us the game.

He misses two chances and people call him greedy and poor ?
The two chances at the end he was up on his own.
He creates plenty of chances 1st half he created that chance across the goal line and no one was there to tap it in, he does every game, but never a goal from it
I admit he should have scored, but he's not greedy or crap, we don't want him scoring too many either at the moment as he will be a target for teams like Derby in January, if he ain't scoring prem teams won't want him, so it's good he's on a bad run now!

To be fair to RAF I think I kind of see where he's coming from and he's always brave enough to speak out where other fears to tread even if it is a little over the top as in this instance. My take on it is that Fuller is a great talent but has the tendency to be a bit greedy and is probably getting more greedy but for a very good reason, I just don't think he has much confidence in many of the others around him and he thinks he may as well go it alone. If you were playing with Mama and you had the choice to pass or shoot what would you do?? Get Cress up top and you would see a different player IMO, Ric will prove his class and not HAVE to do it all on his own with an out and out striker alongside him. I vote Ric and Cress and watch us go.
