I've been very optimistic we would stay up but after that display tonight,we are going down. We have had some bottlers at this club since we came down, but not so many on the pitch at the same time. This lot don't have it in them for relegation battle, bottlers, fannies, whatever you want to call them, they are going to take us down, every last one of them.

We seem incapable of pulling away from the relegation places.
Down to the last game, I think.

I really don't want to even look at it. We have 4 games left where we could quite easily get no points and end up relegated. I have no idea how he's going to set us up now but it can't be anything like tonight. It's looking grim and is absolutely why we needed to beat the like of Huddersfield at home.

Blackburn and Brum in big trouble. Plymouth should just survive. We look like finishing 5th bottom.

The reason fans of relegated sides look horrified on the last day is that many of them genuinely believe they can’t go down. I think that will be us on the last day. That performance Tonight was an utter disaster at the perfectly incorrect moment of the season. I think we will crumble on Saturday and Huff and Puff to Division One. We deserve it.

We know there is no character in this squad at all. If they manage a point at Wednesday and beat Plymouth they should be safe for another year in The Championship. There aren't many of them who you would want to start next season with which is a problem in itself. If they get relegated god knows how it would be approached. What a fucking mess. 9th in the Premier playing Binary football to the first division with (not one or two) but a whole squad of fannies

End of the day, we need 3 points from 4 games.
A dire performance tonight but these things happen with a squad like ours which is very fragile mentally. I think we'll lose against Wednesday but beat Plymouth and that will be enough.

FFS, if it comes down to the last game, and possibly to goal diff, will be un fuckin believable. Can't see us getting more than 1 point in next 3 games, and a heavy defeat at Southampton could really fuck us over.

I think we might scrape 1 win or 2 draws max. If we do survive it'll be down to other teams failure.
I've just looked at the current Championship table and amazingly we have taken the most points in the bottom eight teams over the past six games, so in theory we are the "form team" at the moment. Incredible isn't it !

The field is definitely thinning out a bit - but if you take emotion out of it and view it objectively, I don't think we're that much worse off than we were before the midweek round, other than missing our first big chance to kill it off, the morale hit and complete mood change it's produced. There'll be 3 or 4 fanbases thinking they're nailed-on, and with still probably more cause to worry at this stage. I didn't see that coming last night. Norwich aside, we've been good for the last 6 weeks. Worrying that you can produce something that awful at this stage of the season, even with some huge calls going against us. But if we can't get 4 points from the run-in, we deserve to drop. m.skybet.com/football/sky-bet-championship/outrights/10005380Bham 10/11 42 -19 Cov H, Rotherham A, Hudders A, Norwich H Sheff W 10/11 43 -31

2 draws against Sheff Wed and Plymouth will do it. To be honest they are the games I am most worried about. Against the "better" teams we seems to put in a performance, whereas against the lower teams we just don't turn up. The managers of both teams will look at our performance last night and tell the players to get into our faces and press hard for 20 minutes or so and we will crumble. Unfortunately, it feels as simple as that.

Poss not the best time to update it as folk are very negative about last nights performance - yes it was woeful, but I still have hope. Last 4 games, all the others now updated with actuals I've predicted we will get 2 draws and a win from the last 4, probably bonkers thought process, but a draw at Sheffield, win v Plymouth, loss v Saints and an already safe timid 1-1 draw last game of the season In my prediction I've got a bottom 6 table of: Stoke 51 Blackburn 47 Plymouth 46 Sheff Weds 46 Birmingham 43 Rotherham 24 I'm probs being harsh on Sheffield but their run in is full of 6 pointers vs us and Blackburn so that could go either way Blackburn - thats their only real winnable game on paper - the others are all top 3 or play offs Brum look fucked, huge derby game v Cov on Saturday, although they have got Rotherham who have nowt to play for but pride so that might save them Just need to do our thing, beating Plymouth is the main one I think! I thought Brum and Blackburn were doomed but suddenly Blackburn are going to fancy their chances against an imploding Leicester side.
That’s a bit of a worry.
