Yet there was only one goal in it, and it came from us giving the ball away from a CB trying to dribble out from the back, and another CB extremely slow to react. We were quite attacking in that second half, plenty of possession in dangerous areas but no end product. That goal was on Hoever. No one else. Wilmot moves out to the side and stands where he’s supposed to to receive a ball. Hoever decides to dick around and loses the ball near the edge of the area. He should be out doing laps in the rain for that. Useless. Simply useless. Think of how gutted the other 10 players on the pitch must have been after Hoevers folly. As toothless as we are we played well defensively and were actually on the front foot at that point. Then the inevitable individual error. Is it any wonder that there is finger pointing in the dressing room? You bust your ass playing defensive football for 50 minutes and then this dick takes selfish moment of incompetence.

Well that’s the end of our winning streak. The defeat might be on Hoever, but the manager keeps selecting him, if he comes anywhere near the team after that then it’s 100% the manager The goal conceded is on Hoever, if we decided not to select a defender who has cost us on a few occasions though we’d literally have nobody to put in the defence, they have all made too many mistakes. Hoever was decent the other night. But shit today. The goal is 100% on him and nobody else. Let down his team mates big time today

12 home league goals in 17 games now. Jesus. Lowest in the league by 2. Pathetic. That’s embarrassing If you’re owners and are worried about season tickets why would you bother based on the last few seasons.

There was absolutely no need to set up with such a defensive line up v these. Basically conceded the game Yet there was only one goal in it, and it came from us giving the ball away from a CB trying to dribble out from the back, and another CB extremely slow to react. We were quite attacking in that second half, plenty of possession in dangerous areas but no end product. Nobody else involved, 100% Hoever's fault

What makes it more annoying is that a win would have taken us comfortably up the table but he showed no intention of playing for it
They got an injury time equaliser v Plymouth to put them into perspective but we show no ambition of 3 points before a ball is kicked

Very very worried after that. Results haven’t gone our way. Very difficult fixtures coming up. Can’t score a bloody goal. Manager losing the plot. We’re down. Yes think that's just about done it for us now, bottom three this time next week, probably not getting another point until the 16th March and any confidence be gone by April

I was watching the one where we set up ultra defensively and managed 1 shot on target

Pathetic side picked today no intension of winning the game, to leave 5 or 6 better players on the bench and hope we get a goal is stupid do you think the likes of Liverpool man City arsenal would do that no chance would they.

And if you fall, will you move to Siberia...? Well.im staying and ots conformed rhe manager is totally out of his depth Idiotic selection never goog to.score amd always vulnerable to a mistake Absolutely horrific management But for how long will you...? I think we've looked far worse earlier in the season. Of course it hurts to lose, but we actually defended well, just a moment of madness cost us. It goes without saying that we looked better after the subs came on, but I trust the manager's (not to say the ohysics') judgment that they weren't fit to play the whole game.

Was anxious today as went to watch Nairn County play Deveronvale (won 4-2 cracking game) and sure I'd miss our best performance of the season and a 3-0 win.
Only downside in reality was that I could keep an eye on Flash Scores as we inevitably succumbed to a limp defeat.

March looks tough but we might pick up an unexpected win or a few draws, and there is still Cardiff away before that.

Lots of emotion in many posts today as expected. Another thread calling for us to run the Coates out of town again, posters calling for Schumacher's head (Like that'd solve anything.) We've been through that 5 times already and each new manager is saddled with the previous regime's players - that's like a broken record. As another poster said - Get rid of the owners For What? Ashley?! Smurthwaite? Sheik Yerbouti? Give me a break. I'm not happy either but ffs.

Thanks a lot Hoever you fucking plank It's not like me be like that, I'm taking that insult back, it's like Glenn said on P&G, he's a young lad and he's made a mistake. It's a bit cruel that one error proved so costly, especially as our game was littered with errors. The team has really got to work on cutting out these errors. The effort was good today though, and we were unlucky not to score, so heads up, we move on. It just really stung losing like that

Frankly I don't care. Use stats when it's to your advantaage, but don't use them to beat yourself over the head. None of them matter when we play our next game.

I wonder if we'll ever hear the logic behind most of the current Stoke strikers not even being on the bench. Clearly a signal was intended. Well I hope one was and it wasn't just a hissy fit.

I'll say it now because I'll stand or fall by it it's a absolutely insane team selegtuo indicative of either terrible naivety or horrendous behind the scenes issues or both the bench is pathetic So it was indeed naive ,incompetent and got what it deserved nothing , and allowed the gap to be closed . He has inherited a mess but is making it worse to not have Campbell ot Mmaee in the squad and start with the hopeless Lowe is deliberate self harm . Martin is of Côurse as I’ve said so often the architecht of our demise but this is turning into another horrific appointment by him won’t be long before the rats try and each other if they haven’t started already these stories about Marin and SS are coming from somewhere

Not happy with the result, but what I saw was a team who have not downed tools, so there is hope. Seems to be a few on the naughty step. Thought Cundle did well today, we deserved a point today.

I guess everyone has different expectations. I thought we were useless, ineffective, barely made their keeper do anything and frankly they should have been 1-0 up sooner had they finished off that sitter in the first half. Awful result again.
