Really enjoyed that, after a slow start. Mahomes couldn't get a throw away for the first half. Big effort from the Chiefs to get it back and a dramatic finish. Good fun.

Too many people concentrating on the bullshit that goes on around the game. It was a fabulous game and that touch down in the final seconds couldn't be scripted. Amazing stuff. Oh, I was a neutral. BTW I recorded it and was an hour behind the play and skipped all the frills. Best way... concentrate on the game. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/0m0lbCuTEBzaRn6f8QaM.gif) OS. I am even worse. I recorded it overnight as I turn into a pumpkin around midnight. Made sure my radio alarm and phone were switched off, that the TV was set to start on the golf channel, went for my morning walk along the canal and then watched the game in much the same way as you when I got home. It was a tremendous game (I prefer great defences making every point priceless) but Mahomes is a bit like watching Germany in major tournaments. The other team looks great and seem to be on the verge of winning and then almost out of nothing Germany Mahomes wins. A lot of 49ers fans seem to be blaming the missed PAT in the 4th Quarter for the defeat, but, it seemed inevitable that if The Chiefs had needed a touchdown in the last 2 minutes of normal time, Mahomes would have found a way. I am now going to have to find something else to do now on a Sunday evening for the next 6 months. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/0m0lbCuTEBzaRn6f8QaM.gif)

Exciting ending.
Were you expecting such a low scoring first half? I feel like everyone before the game was talking about how good the offences are. Mahomes, McCaffrey etc.

Put it simply, no Mahomes and the Niners win. Fair play to the Chiefs though, youve got to admire them

Gutted! Still a fine season for the Niners You’ll be back mate. You’ve already been installed as favourites for next season. Thought Purdy did OK but you could do with an elite QB. You got unlucky with injuries yesterday especially to your LB who tumbled running back onto the pitch. Cheers fella Guess Iwas looking for a ‘pick me up’ after saturday Weirdly Chiefs did to Niners what Niners did to Packers and Lions in the PO games….found a way to win at the end Still think the Niners have been great over the season as a whole though

Chiefs fan here so I'm obviously really pleased they won. I really didn't expect that this year as they looked much weaker offensively than in previous years (and said it on here back in September) and didn't really have a great regular season. Tremendous effort to win in Buffalo and Baltimore on the way to the Superbowl though. Have to agree with you guys that the Swift/Kelce show is really sickening and there's also no excuse for Kelce doing that to Andy Reid - what an idiot. After decades of not even making the playoffs this is definitely the "golden era" for the Chiefs so I guess we have to take it while it lasts. I was amazed he didn’t get benched after what was basically an assault of a guy who can’t be far off his 70s. It really didn’t show TK in a positive light (AJ Brown wasn’t impressed). If that was a less important player he’d have been benched or ejected but I think because of the “story” behind Kelce / Swift nothing happened. I’ve always liked the Chiefs till this season and some of it may be jealousy (I’m a Chargers fan) ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/KYqg3pYeaerc5lD_P7BR.gif) but this season they’ve become pretty unlikeable because of the Kelce / Swift show and I think bar there own fans they’re pretty unpopular. Mahomes too despite his immense talent can at times come across as a petulant child when he doesn’t get a call go his way. That said fair play to the Chiefs and congrats. They should never be written off and I wouldn’t put it past them doing it again next season if they stay injury free. Which is laughable because Mahomes rarely gets decisions not to his way. The look of confusion when a flag went against him in the first quarter was funny.

Can't decide what would be worse, Super Bowl or Taylor Swift I used to be quite into NFL in the 90’s. What the hell is all this celebrity shite? Taylor Swift can fuck off n all, a bizarre character

Watched the Super Bowl until 3.30am and still managed the whole first day of the training conference without going full Falling Down.
At the end one goes ‘we’ll go out for beers at 6pm’ and excitement ensues- all twelve of them have gone bed by 10.30pm. It’s beers on expenses ffs!
I’m not annoyed I’m just disappointed!

can someone explain part of the draft
i get the premise that the shittest team gets first draft pick and kansas go to the bottom of the draft pick this is to stop the same team winning year out
what if players do not want to play for the team that drafts them and want to play elsewhere

If they refuse, they can be traded, though that doesn’t exactly look good and their negotiated salary could take a hit. If they’re a late pick, they won’t be earning much and the franchise may just cut them anyways. I don’t believe it’s that common though.

The one famous exception was John Elway who was drafted by Baltimore back in the early 80s. He categorically didnt want to be there but Baltimore stood firm. However Elway was also a very good baseball player and im fairly sure was offered a deal at NY yankees. He basically threatened Baltimore that he would quit football and go to baseball instead, in effect forcing their hand. As such they traded h8m to Denver where he became a legend. I think thats how the story went anyway.
