To not shore the defence up in the window was suicide. Stoke City are run by a bunch of absolute idiots and I include the manager in that Instead we’ve bought in two of his mates from Plymouth, at the other end of the pitch! You couldn’t make it up! The rest of the side performing so well of course A strong defence is the key to any good team. Builds confidence. Scoring the odd goal helps as does having a midfield that exists. Having neither means the defence under constant pressure |
