I work at Blackburn Rovers so have seen him all this season.... Well I've actually barely seen him because he never gets a game. Overweight in pre-season, couldn't stay fit, injured every game, poor footballer in general and I don't think he's even bothered one bit. Not happy with this at all. Is he twinned with ty 😉😉

Stein and Sheron had proven pedigree but had lost their way and were down in the doldrums when they came to Stoke. This guy has nothing like their backgrounds. Me might as well sign Lee Gregory again and cross our fingers that he becomes the next Stein or Sheron.

Yep! Neil Innes. And was in The Bonzo Dog Doodah Band. And did some stuff with Monty Python too... he was the minstrel singing the Brave Sir Robin song in the Holy Grail film, and also one of the monks banging pieces of wood on their heads

I desperately want Ennis to succeed. I just find the argument that he could be another Stein or Sheron pretty misleading as it seems to get wheeled out no matter who we sign. We could sign Fred Bloggs from the Potteries and District Division 5, and someone would say “ah but Mark Stein was rubbish too, before he came to Stoke”.

Linked to Barnsley, Bolton and Charlton over Christmas
Plymouth fans liked him but say that he wasn't going to be good enough in the Championship
This one is that strange that he could very well be our best signing for years 🤣🤣🤣

Definitely a whif of Nathan Jones in my nostrils I've felt that way for about a fortnight......

Just read a thread on their board when he went to Blackburn, and they were gutted. You've only got to watch that Blckburn video on here featuring the Plymouth fans to see they rated him

Fits us like a glove 🧤

Definitely a whif of Nathan Jones in my nostrils I've felt that way for about a fortnight...... Jones will go down statistically as one of our worst managers of all time. Schumacher has had the 3rd best start of any new manager in our history (something I read a few days back). They couldn't be any further apart, it's absolutel ridiculous to even mention them in the same breath.

Me might as well sign Lee Gregory again and cross our fingers that he becomes the next Stein or Sheron. Stein played 176 games before moving to us scoring 42 goals in his career, hardly proven pedigree mate. Sheron played 133 and scored 27 again not proven pedigree. If fact I would say they are similar to Ennis

Statistically he is the worst Worse than Kamara ? Thing is, Jones thought he was Pep and Kamara realised he was out of his depth.

Statistically he is the worst Worse than Kamara ? I think so if he isn't you have to factor in Jones spent about £14m on Vokes Batth and the average right back from Huddersfield whose name I've forgotten Kammy had Lightbourne bought for him by Moxey and otherwise was so far out there in his transfer (I say transfers but they were all free agents) that would make Jared and Barry Fry blush Strangely I like both Nathan and Chris as characters, neither are football managers Jones to be fair would probably make a good number two to a dour manager

If fact I would say they are similar to Ennis Stein and Sheron broke through as top flight players when they were young, and scored quite a few goals there before losing their way. Ennis hasn’t played in the top flight or scored a single goal above League One has he?

Hey, you leave Tommy Smith alone! Didn't think Smith was that bad but wasn't that great either! He’s the best right back we’ve had in the last 7 years (which is saying something). He should be comfortably surpassed by Junior though, assuming that he keeps his performance levels up. He left us and became a first choice in a playoff side. Another good example of average enough players being more than good enough in the right set up.

Nah Sterling was better Smith got more goals and assists. Did Sterling actually manage to get an assist in the 26 games he played? I would have him back though. I think he could add that to his game and would look good on the left with Junior on the right.
