We are terrible at corners and free kicks around the box. In a game like this where we aren’t really creating anything (mainly because Mmaae never seems arsed !! ) these can really give us a good opportunity to do something. I can’t figure out how professional footballers who train all week can be so poor at delivering a decent ball into the box ?

Not one of these players have the heart in it to win a 50-50 in the WBA box anyways. Shame that there isn’t an option: corner or goal kick but the keeper has to play it short.

11 corners and no threat . Can we take Hoever off corners please . Seems the Leeds corner to Wesley has convinced us he can take a corner. He rarely beats the first man . And our strategy seems to be just hoping the ball breaks . Can we try a bit of invention please ? The Maguire corner . The Walters corner. The Fletcher corner . Or just take one short and widen the angle . Then there’s the Sheringham corner . Just please can we try something different? Any stats on corner conversions anyone ? Us versus the division ?

Every corner bar one was to the near post.
We cant practice set pieces because we are so bad.
Basically 11 assists or opportunities not given a chance..

I can never get why our support goes crazy when we are awarded a corner, rarely something comes of it and most of the time its an advantage to the opposition, as they can make a quick break when the corner is cleared. I just shrug my shoulders when one is awarded because I know what's coming next. Its shocking and really unprofessional.

The corners were shite against Swansea so I was hoping they’d be better today. They were even worse!
It’s hard to understand how professional footballers can’t put 1 decent delivery in out of 11 corners between them?
They must work on them so it just shows the lack of belief in the players at the moment.

Even our throw ins are crap. Every other side seems to have a set piece specialist, but we have 4 players trying and failing to just put something other than average into the box. Infuriating, especially in tight games like today where you need them to create opportunities.
