But don't both clubs have to agree to any change in prices?
It won't cost Man U anything to subsidise their fans as the extra money recieved from the Northampton fans will cover it!

Shit, hadn't thought of that (the fact that Man Utd get 40% of the gate money or whatever)....it doesn't matter anyway really does it?
I think its quite good of Man Utd myself, at least they recognise that they still have some proper fans (I know one myself) that want to go to Northampton to watch a match.
Also, I know both clubs have to agree to a reduction in prices, not sure about an increase?! Although it would seem silly if they didn't.

At the end of the day Northampton had to pass buckets around to save their club 12-months ago. Doubling prices isn't going to hurt anyone
For Manchester United to object is a new benchmark in low hypocricy.

What happened with Northampton then, because I'm sure they spent about 100k on Josh Low from Oldham in the summer?!

They found a buyer. Isn't it interesting to note there is no criticism of the decision by Northampton fans. Only ones from Manchester.
