You can read presumably and scroll. Go find out. Don’t answer then, predictably you can’t answer. No surprise there. And even though you’ll feel compelled to reply, it still won’t be a conclusive answer 😂

What we have to remember is that our objective in the short term is to get results. We can't be having a player on the pitch who isn't ready for this level yet, just because bayern thinks it'll be good for his development. Look how much Lowe has struggled when he's been on the pitch. If we went out and signed a player who's been in and out of the first team at League Two level and declared that he was going to be around the first team next year, there'd be uproar. We need players who are ready to contribute at this level, which a L2 substitute isn't going to be. I'm sure that the lad will have a good future at a high level, but very few players are ready for the Championship at 18. It is but a 9 man bench allows that to happen as well as developing players. Lowe isn’t the player Tezgel is though. Not even close really. Lowe won't make it here. He's is the one who needs loaning. The thing with Tezgel if he had signed for a prem club when he had the chance he would be moving to someone like us on loan.. I.e Delap etc.. I don't know the right answer but this club has a duty of care to get this right as if not they might as well shut the academy down. Hes the best player to come through it since we've had it. Personally I'd be leaning to another loan as the short term targets for this club are absolutely massive. But if we do have a good team next year it will be so much easier to blood a quality youngster in.

If we don’t we will be left behind. And it’s a space that’s only getting more difficult as parents are wising up to it and are far more open to going to a category with a lower grade as their kid has more of a chance of game time. Vale do this really well and it’s probably kept them afloat. I just think there’s room for both Sidibe and Tezgel on a 9 man bench next season. Sidibe should have been on the bench for a lot of this season really with how he started. There was always scope to move him back down to the 21s should he not carry that form up.

Neither you,me or anybody else knows at this stage whether he will make it. I've seen several loanees who were older than Lowe and further on in their careers, written off on here over the last couple of seasons. Several have gone on to do well.

We live in a time of ‘everything now’. This new generation are often impatient and entitled. I’d rather maximise our young players’ potential instead of rushing them in to the first team at the risk of them playing fewer games. What is so bad about going on loan to L1? It’s talked about like purgatory!

Because you can bypass that whole thing and still move up the ranks. It’s happening more often (and plauers going abroad) as clubs don’t give them a chance. It’s good for English football I guess but not good for us as we imo are ones who don’t really offer clear pathways. It’s very hit and miss. Even with someone like Collins, I don’t think we maximised what we had.

But why would Tezgel who is already on Stoke's books want to move to a lower division team for more game time? How do you know that part of 'His pathway' as you term it isn't to spend some time on loan at lower league teams.

Harry Kane played 18 games in league 1 with Leyton Orient, scoring 5 goals Millwall Championship 22 games 7 goals Norwich Premier League 3 games 0 goals Leicester Championship 13 games 2 goals Not what you would call fantastic results, but did brilliantly at Spurs. Stoke are a Championship club so giving academy players more opportunities at this level should be of a more common practice. Especially when we be having a smaller squad and will have 46 games and 9 places on the bench each game to consider. Each player will take different routes compared with others. Nathan Collins and Harry Souttar being the different examples of the routes academy players may take.. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Kane

It can only benefit them playing more regular and getting some experience in the mans game.

True, however I don’t think playing a whole season as a regular, by that I mean 40+ games, is good for a young body. Happily see these young lads go and play for half a season, learn a bit and then be on our bench to try and make an impact when given the chance. Some 18 years are physically way behind others and too much football too soon can have a long term impact

Surely the most sensible thing is to keep Tezgel around the first team this time around and get Lowe out on loan in maybe league One? Lowe will have benefited from being in the first team squad but needs some regular game time now

Lowe will have benefited from being in the first team squad but needs some regular game time now Wouldn't hurt to loan Lowe until Jan and then Tezgel for the rest of the season if necessary. It depends how many other centre forwards we have though. There's no point in him being here if he's not going to at least be on the bench. Better off getting more experience in League 1 or 2.
