Correct ..absolute shite …effing circus You don’t have to watch them but if it makes the day better for some people then what’s the issue? I have to say, having lived in Bristol for 7 years and having a friend work for the football club, I went to a few games whilst Stoke were playing away. It’s brilliant the way they do it, and leaves fans sticking around until long after the game.

It’s not for me and I will almost certainly never use it unless the food is insane and then I will buy it and get the hell out of there. But they’re a bloody good idea and I hope it works because this club feels stale and it needs freshening up and stuff like this can only help.

Bristol is a different scenario though tbf It’s in a very busy built up area, with other bars aplenty around, easy public transport links or on foot or to flag a taxi of which are numerous so people will hang around after the game Lets hope ours succeeds but it’s night and day in that regard

It would be great if they could use it to provide a platform for local musicians. I saw these recently and they were brilliant.

It keeps a fair few back to watch the late kick offs, to have a few beers and a bit of something to soak it all up. Think we are the same to them in that regard in having a ground that’s useless for getting to or away from. Back in the prem days, I certainly would have had a pint and / or food instead of standing for an hour on the bridge down.

Seems to always be packed before and after KO (which is great). Only issue would be if it’s pissing it down I guess, which it always does in Stoke, so wonder if they’ve made provisions for that….

Aren’t they a Coates company? So if they are…..I doubt it. I always thought they were independent - the one I go to regularly, near the club shop/car park is a business from Walsall. I think they run the one behind the Boothen as well. Not sure about the ones behind the Tile Mountain Stand. I know it's just business but seems a shame if they're dispensed with now - it's been the same folks running them for years. I like the 2 women who run that one. Bit mean with the hot water in the tea though. I ask her to fill the cup up as I order now which always makes her crack a smile. Good cheesy chips too.

That's the one. Been a bit of a matchday routine for years now. Park up, pop to van, get a couple of burgers for me and the lad, scoff them with some chips then head to our seats. It's nice when you get recognised and have a chat. It's only the last few years when I've realised they're not local. I think it's the same firm/family that runs the one behind the Boothen.

Coventry have been allocated 3k. Minimum have to give is 2000 maximum is around 3500 (league games) according to simon King on that video so can see cov selling all if given them. Says on the Cov website they sold the full allocation of 3,044. Wasn't the full allocation last season around 2,600?

Think last year's max league allocation was 2950.

A couple of minor gripes from what ive seen having had a look before the AZ match, I still think eventually they will want to put more cover in. There appears to be a lack of bins and places to put your drink down. Its the same problem in ricardos which means everyone clambers for the few tables, shelving on the walls or loiters around the bar. This could be sorted pretty easily. Aside from that looks great, just hope its big enough!

We did that in the 80s or 90s Good job they didn't have this MB in the 1920s They had a bally marching band at HT and I saw a woman at a game. Some players were even wearing hair products and didn't kiss when they scored for fear of messing up their tache What has happened to the game ?

Does anyone remember a so called pre match entertainment on the pitch before a game about 15 years ago calling themselves Disco inferno? Sad I remember the name but they had some bottle ... I think they were promoting a new bar
Was basically a fella and 2 girls in those daft afro wigs and 70s get up miming to songs. It was beyond bad. After about 2 songs they got the 'time to go : chant but soldiered on through the Grease megamix
I actually felt sorry for them

You, of all people, should know going to watch Stoke shouldn't be a pleasurable experience! 😁 I enjoy shouting abuse at our players 🤣 Maybe you're on to something. Find some boo boys of the past who've fallen on hard times and pay them to stand up on stage for an hour before KO just taking a good old fashioned booing. "Ladies and gentlemen, get your rotten fruit at the ready, please welcome.....Keith Scott!
