I’ve looked back and we played 11 matches in five weeks during late November and into December (10 league and one league cup QF against Spurs). It was far too much and we suffered in my opinion.

Robert Huth was a CB we signed from a relegated club. By all accounts, Helik was pretty much player of the season at both clubs. You can still be a good player in a relegated side, you know.

By younger I mean 22 or so, someone to bridge the gap between the first teamers and the 17 year olds who need a year or 2 of u-21 games yet, maybe a loan too. We let Baker & Okagbue go so need others in that age group.

I always thought with age came wisdom.....
