Thought he was OK. The biggest issue in the back 4 were the fullbacks who were exposed time and time again.
Their left side in particular had the whole park to themselves.
RB needed as a priority.

He is the worst centre half we’ve had since relegation. He isn't at all. But he's a by product of why we can't break the top half. If we can get anything above 2m we should be looking to sell and re-invest. |

After Collins and Souttar, Chester is about the only other centre half that has been bordering on ok sometimes in this league. And had way more better games than Wilmot. Williams was better too. Made less mistakes and much better on the ball. Absolute shite but better than Wilmot. |

The haters are out in force tonight. There is nothing wrong with Wilmot as a Championship defender and I would say he's better than some who played for us in the Premier. We can't even find a back up Central defender so why would we want to put ourselves in the situation of needing a first choice who would cost money which we need to spend on at least one good striker and a couple of full backs
