He's turning out to be a disastrous managerial appointment.
We can turn it around but not with him in charge

any of this seem familar: Look at that squad on paper now, these players have been brought in to play a particular way, they've been hand picked for to fit into a particular role in a style of football we want to establish. For the first time in absolutely ages I'm excited about watching the end product when they've got to know and understand each other as players and as people. We will be in mid table at least by Christmas I'm pretty confident of that, we're a totally different out fit now. We've brought in good players with qualities hand picked by the manager to play a style and a brand of football he's already promoted two teams with. For me Travers, Mcnally, Pearson, Burger, Wesley looks a pretty solid spine. To be honest I'd love to know the reasoning behind signing Wesley, he was definatley a player we brought in as a stop gap and it does look completely senseless given his immobility, Tje players he brought in look exciting and we have signed pkayers to play an attacking game with a sprinkling of flair, what more do you want? We'd do very well to better that record with anybody else. It isn't like we've made bad signings, quite the opposite, with resale value to as theyre the right age. The players we have brought in is a big positive for me, we should let him finish what he has started because going into the next two windows it's clear what we need and I'm convinced we'll get the right type. Whichever way you want to look at it Mmaee was one of our key signings because we paid 4 million euros for him, we paid a considerable fee because he can clearly finish, asisst and he's mobile Where have you had that from I couldn't agree more.. A couple of things to add though, we havn't spent big on the missing piece of the jig saw, we missed out on a couple of top striker targets in summer and arguably with the right C.F we'd be 6 points better off. I fully expect us to spend on a good striker in January, we've had since the summer now to find a suitable alternative after missing out on a couple in the summer. Now, given we did spend a quarter of the season acclimatising a whole new squad without a suitable pre-season we've obviously dropped points in that time for that reason, I think we're 6 points down due to a lack of a serious player at CF that will score the goals and suit the way we play. Take away points lost to the settling in period and points dropped for a lack of the right goalscoring C.F I'd put us in the play-off positions or at the very least right next door Interesting how you know that we missed out on a couple of top strikers during the Summer. It must have been around the same time that we missed out on a couple of top Chs and a couple of Top LFs etc. etc. You don't half talk a lot of shit. You said that nobody could have got a tune out of the players he inherited. But the facts show that he won more points with those useless players that he didn't even know, than he managed with the 6 players he brought in. 6 of last years shit also played for AN in one of his better wins this season. He must be a magician to manage to do that. Incidentally, I think you will find that Jordon Thompson is with Stoke City a lot longer than Ben Wilmot.

How many points do you reckon missing out on a suitable CF has costs us? How many points do you think a lack of a pre-season with a new squad cost us, as well as a settling in period. I'm no Carol Vordaman but I reckon a good 7 so far all together. How many points off play offs are we these days? And the non award of 5-6 penalties that the PGMOL have apparently apologised for, so on top of your 7 it would probably have been at least another 6 points Hey, the funny thing is there's some truth in that

I don't think it's toxic, you'd hear about it. I think there is a level of naivety at board level and a distinct lack of modern day football thinking. If you're looking for toxicity I'd try looking a bit closer to home, it does seem that this place is only happy when it's miserable. A win or two and decent football and you're stumped for something to moan about the board becomes stale I have been supporting Stoke since 1965. Apart from the Icelandic era, this is worse it’s been.

He has no plan B His team selections are appalling He’s delusional We are going no where with him in charge we forgave Boskamp because he was a larger than life character who occasionally said 'shit' live on air in a Euro-pop accent. This guy has the personality of a yoga mat We forgave TP because he had the personal charm of a yoga mat but delivered on the pitch

He should have subbed Burger and Mmaee much earlier. Both were knackered.
Tonight again shows the folly of the transfer window, we needed to sign commanding centre backs, we need a powerful striker who can turn his defender.
I've finally accepted we are a poor side.
The manager needs to go

He *HAS* to go.

There's no way he can be in charge v Plymouth.
7 goals conceded v Blackburn and this heap of rubbish who haven't won in 12
No home wins and score 4 past us, 10 men or not
Absolute car crash of a manager. He's overtaken Jones as our worst manager in my lifetime by some distance

He's got to go
Clark and Stevens in the team, junior not even on the bench
Nobody but AN would have come up with that

All the happy clappers who gave me shit after we won 3 in a row Where art thou? Vidigal47? I'm here. You think the result tonight was purely down to Neil? Nothing to do with a terrible display by the referee? By far the better team with 11 men. Bet you're wanking yourself silly. Tit

We’ve had an absolute stinker of a ref tonight who couldn’t have done more to help QPR but the managers subs tonight have absolutely killed us.
You have to maintain a threat, even with 10 men. To take both Campbell and Bae off was suicidal. And then to leave Mmaee on for as long as he did was just stupid.
Can anyone actually think of a single occasion when one of his substitutions had a positive impact on a game?

Useless at the start of his reign and still useless now. Still don't like the bloke. He will win just enough games to avoid getting the sack. But he isn't the answer,we will get nowhere with him at the helm..
