How long as Ryan been out for now? We could desperately do with him back.
I know we haven’t seen enough of him yet to make a full judgement but I’ve got high hopes for him and his goal scoring record in Hungary suggests he can do well for us. I can’t help but feel with Vidigal, Junho and Haksbanovic behind him we will create plenty of chances for him and he will thrive.
The sooner he’s fit and available to play the better. Could potentially transform this side if he finds his feet and goes on a goal scoring run.

Do we know exactly how long he will be before he's selectable, what is his injury?

The lack of transparency around injuries is frustrating.
Not for the first time in recent history, our injury record seems significantly worse than most other clubs.

Do we know exactly how long he will be before he's selectable, what is his injury? The club’s communication over Mmaee’s and Vidigal’s injuries has been appalling. With Vidi, we get a sub appearance against Hull, and then he disappears from the squad again without explanation. None of the two bob journos are even quizzing Neil about it. Can he just please be open with what’s wrong with them?

Just the timescale would be nice

Because we don’t have anyone to score goals and we’re missing our best player, so as paying fans who want to see points on the table it isn’t too much to ask when the two players who might be able to help achieve that will be returning. If you had a power cut, wouldn’t you want to know when the lights were coming back on or would you just sit in a corner holding a candle waiting patiently?

You want to tell other clubs, the extent of our injuries? It's pretty common practice to tell supporters the nature of injuries and timescales

I hope he's back sooner rather than later but it makes no difference if I know before hand or the day of the game.

You want to tell other clubs, the extent of our injuries? What advantage does it give to other clubs. It’s not like we’re handing them out our intended team sheet for the next game.

It's quite clear why we can't, because they're injured. I don't think he's throwing two goalkeepers on the bench for fun is he?

I honestly don't know why he thinks he's being so clever by being coy. It's clearly having no positive effect on results as we've lost 60% of our games already.
Might aswell just be open about it and give us some rough timelines on them. It won't have any effect on the other dugout outcoaching him every other week.

You want to tell other clubs, the extent of our injuries? It wouldn't make one jot of difference to any of our opponents plans to know if Mmae is out for another 7 days or another 7 months. Conversely our fans would be very grateful to know the heck is going on around the place. As others have said its perfectly normal practice at all clubs to give broad details of the nature of injuries and likely return dates. It's 2nd flight domestic nogger, not MI6.

The longer he’s been out the better he gets. If he’s injured for the rest of his contract he’ll be a legend.

I’ve never understood this ‘don’t let the opposition know’ bollocks.
Do we seriously think professional teams in the championship, with potentially hundreds of millions on the line, don’t do their preparation and research?
Teams will have multiple plans ready for whomever they see on that teamsheet at 2pm on a Saturday (or whenever they find out).
Saying if a player will be fit for the weekend, or a rough timescale of when they are back will have absolutely no bearing on the result.
All it does is piss the fans off and for some reason over the last few years we’ve become incredibly poor at transparency over these issues.
I’m not saying they need to tell us, hell they can do what they want. But I think at least some minor transparency would be helpful.
Players like Mmaee, Campbell and Vidigal are important players and no one knows what’s even wrong with them.

Pete Smith: There were another couple of injuries on Tuesday, how are Hoever and Wilmot? Neil: Injured.
Pete Smith: Is anyone liable to come back? Neil: I'm not sure yet.
It's answers like above that boil my piss about Neil.

When was the last time we actually had a player that would cause the opposition to set up differently? A good few years I'll wager. I like the look of Mmaee, and will be glad when he's an option again, but I can't quite imagine Warnock running through the changing rooms screaming 'scrap everything, we need to think again, Mmaee's playing!'.

It's answers like above that boil my piss about Neil. He’s very blunt in press conferences and doesn’t go into much detail, I don’t think he likes talking to reporters most of the time. Can often come across as a right grump.

Can’t you all see this secrecy over injuries is making a massive difference to results?
Leicester are completely in the dark as to our first 11 and are struggling to plan for the game lol 😂.

Maybe he doesn't want to get our hopes us, only to dash them if a player isn't ready when expected. I doubt that recovery from injury is an exact science

If I'm wrong I'm wrong but hasn't he got a hamstring problem? If this is correct for a bad injury it should be 6/8 weeks absolute max.
