I’d be very happy if the 4 that were subbed off never played for us again. Yep, I've stood by Laurent because there's a player in there but we just dont see it often enough and Hoever when he isn't assisting is just a liability. Tymon and Thompson can just fuck off to League 1.

He allowed the players who have served us well so far to start. In hindsight a poor decision but you need to be very careful dropping players as soon as a new player comes through the door.
Second half was a glimpse into the future. Leris, Burger, Campbell and Pearson made a huge difference second half.
Anyone who says Thompson should start before Pearson needs sectioning.

Shameful starting lineup cost us. Are we ready for an adult debate about the inept 5 at the back system or are we just going to descend into messageboard posting by numbers? There's certain systems that just don't suit clubs for whatever reason and wingbacks have never ever suited us or produced any kind of entertaining football, regardless of manager or personnel. What's more frustrating is when managers have got a tune out of the squad playing some variant of four at the back.

Shameful starting lineup cost us. Are we ready for an adult debate about the inept 5 at the back system or are we just going to descend into messageboard posting by numbers? He was always going to stick with the team that beat Watford last week for me,it didn’t work at all and as soon as you concede against Millwall away you know it’s going to be a difficult afternoon because they’ve got something to hang onto which they thrive on. Second half showed us all what we can do going forward but let’s not forget we still didn’t score(despite looking loads better) with the change of formation/players. As I said last week most managers in this league make changes most weeks depending on who they’re playing and I don’t think that’ll change going forward. As for the captain I’ve said all along he shouldn’t be in our best midfield and to give him the captaincy was just ludicrous as I said at the time

I reckon it's because we STILL haven't got any proper full backs. Just don't get why we overfill in other positions but continually neglect these key roles. Get some proper full backs in FFS. No it isn’t, it’s most likely because we haven’t got anyone to play on the right for this one considering Leris has just arrived and Campbell is only just back from injury. Stevens and Hoever are proper full backs for Neil’s 4-3-3 system. You are entitled to your opinion, as I am mine. For me, Hoever is never a full back in any back 4 system, he cannot defend. Great going forward but today he had a bloody mare defending, as he also did against Ipswich. Stevens may have been OK a few years ago but time had caught up with him before he even came here. Teams don't release really good players lightly. We have needed really good permanent full backs, without getting them, for about 6 years now. Sterling maybe best we've had but he was purely a loan
