I wouldnt count on this mate.There have been numerous posts over the years what are out and out blatant racism and mostly nothing gets done.I would as a guess, that what most would call racism many in Stoke think its not.And therin lies the problem.Who watches the watchers and who defines what is racist and whats not. Anyway there seems to be these sort of conversations regarding race and culture all over this board and the EE board.It doesnt look good, at all. You would be hard pushed to separate some Koreans from some Japanese and some Chinese if they are not in a group. Some of them do share similar facial features. In the same way you could not separate some of the English from some German or some Russians if they were on their own. Like many ethnic groups if you know them well you can distinguish them better but I don't think it is racist not to know the differences and to many people they will look the same. So, if you are curious the polite way is to just ask. |
