Bit surprised he's gone there in the end. Obviously they're a ginormous club, and he'll be on crazy money, but the Bundesliga is always a little bit off the radar, and he'll only get credit for trophies won if it's the Champions League. Really thought he'd have waited and had his pick of clubs next summer and pocketed all the lovely cash for himself. I find him about as humble and inoffensive as any superstar footballer though, so wish him well. They probably weren't even in his top 3 choices but it's a case of needs must now at his stage of his career. He's 30 now and has already wasted too long at Spurs, he can't afford to wait any longer hoping a space will open up at a Premier League team or at Real etc. So it's a guaranteed Bundesliga and an outside shot at the Champions League at Bayern. Or another trophyless year at Spurs and a 6th place finish before leaving next summer aged 31 and possibly in decline. I think he's made the right decision for his career. Levy was a twat for not letting him leave for Man City a couple of years ago.

I get it, you have to protect your club, keep and grow your assets and not have your pants pulled down but let's have it right. Losing a two horse race to Leicester is telling you something and to stand in the way of a player that has served you so well, in order to save a few quid and save your own face is a proper c***s trick. Shame on Levy, shame on Spurs.

Has Kane come out and said if he'd like to run his contract down? You'd imagine he'd have the pick of any club including Real if he did that.

I can't see Real signing anyone other than Mbappe next summer, think the only move in England would be Man Utd. However, if Newcastle continue to spend money I could see them bringing Kane back after a couple of years at Bayern to then break Shearer's Premier League record in a Newcastle shirt!

Mbappe Kane Vinny Jnr Real Madrid could take them both as out of contract next summer, some forward line that would be, but could Kane catch those two up when they are counter attacking ?

‘Harry Kane going to Germany to win his first trophy is like going abroad to lose your virginity with a prostitute.’

Shame on Levy, shame on Spurs. Why? They should have been fair to the lad and his career and moved him on instead of digging their heels in. There comes a time when you have to accept a player has either outgrown your club or your club can't offer what the player needs or deserves and as much as it might hurt in not getting the exact fee you want, you might have to bend a bit and do what's right for the player. For me that was a good two or three years ago. This is the same Spurs that moaned and groaned about how Christian Eriksen behaved in forcing a move away. The shoe on the other foot etc.

Bayern are a great club, in a great part of the world and are only one of about 6 clubs capable of winning the Champions League.
I think it’s a great move for Kane and if he keeps himself fit he could be back in two seasons time and still capable of scoring Premier League goals.

It's a great move for him, massive club, decent league, European football and he will win trophies.

‘Harry Kane going to Germany to win his first trophy is like going abroad to lose your virginity with a prostitute.’ Hardly any different than Haaland moving to Citeh, or Rooney moving to Man Utd back in the day, Wayne always did prefer the local prostitutes though.

The record is bollocks because he will never get close to Jimmy Greaves. Though would be good to wipe the smile of Shearer’s face. Tony Cottee has more first division goals than Harry Kane

Greaves is at least 70 top level goals ahead of Shearer.

It's a shame he's had to go abroad. Spurs clearly won't do business with their league rivals. I'll miss watching him, but I hope he wins some trophies. They did it with us 😉

I don't understand it at all. It's not even in the top 3 leagues in Europe. Think he will regret moving if he eventually does, still got a feeling he won't go.

They did it with us 😉 Sometimes they did business with us, like with Crouchy. Sometimes they committed what can only be classed as transfer rape. Like with Wimmer and Palacios.

All due respect to a fantastic footballer, I can’t imagine he will pick the language up that easily. People said this about Beckham when he went to Madrid. He struggled with American as well

I would expect the reality is he's wanted out for a number of years now. He signed his last deal with Spurs around the time they finished runners up in the CL didn't he? If I'm remembering that correctly, it wasn't a terrible idea at the time but then Spurs cut back spending. Got rid of Pochettino shortly afterwards and really for a couple of players like Kane, like Son, they've probably regretted wasting the last 3 years with Tottenham. This summer has probably been the time he could force it best, not just because of 12 months left on his contract but because after last season the fans really couldn't begrudge him wanting to move on.

Don’t know what HK’s Bayern contract is worth. No doubt less than Jordan Henderson’s!
