For me the big positive today was Wesley, he is not just big, a target man, but he is good. I am a fan of AN , I think the challenge for him is to get in the right players before the deadline , having had a look at the team in the Championship/ for me possibly a Centre Half, creative midfielder and possibly a striker( I think AN might have a surprise up his sleave) And He has not got be afraid of dropping any player who is not in form, be it the Captain or Mmaee ( I think we all expected a lot of him)....it is then up to those players to force themselves into the reckoning, not to sulk. I'd like to see Campbell in this new look team, which is more positive and should create more chances. Obviously I don't think Neil will be happy with today but he seems to me that he is capable of making the necessary changes. Play the in form players.

Got the selection wrong today. Couldn't compete with their intensity in midfield today. Second goal the result of chasing the game.Don't think they will be any higher than midtable this season, but neither will we by the look of it. That was as close to being our first team as you can get, which is concerning. Though I still see McNally as the best partner for Wilmot in a back four, and if we stick with that then Luke really needs to start the next game.

I think you're over rating Ipswich here a bit. Don't get me wrong they're a good side that should avoid relegation but to say they'll be in the top 6 I think is overestimating them/underestimating the rest of the division. The same goes for suggesting Sunderland will be top 6 again too. This is a much tougher division than it was last year. What is tougher this year? The league is generally quite poor, as it is every year. I think Ipswich will stay strong. They look like a team and I think that’s rare in this division. A lot of clubs in this league rely heavily on loans and have a lot of year to year turnaround. In contrast, 9 of Ipswich’s first team were playing together last season. In my opinion, that showed today. They knew what each other were doing defensively. I think it will boil down to how well they handle that first defeat after a long unbeaten spell. Sunderland have started poorly but I think they’ll finish as a playoff contender. Though, I feel less strongly about that one given that they are playing Dack up top as a solo striker. Well you think a team thar got promoted from league 1 is going to be in the playoffs and they didn't even win the division. So that suggests the teams coming up are better than those going down. Similarly the Burnley, Luton and Sheffield sides had weaker squads on average than the Leeds, Leicester and Southampton sides which went down. Middlesbrough and Norwich both have good squads ans you can never look past Watford or WBA who like Norwich regularly yoyo between the top 2 divisions. And then the 3 of the clubs with the highest net spend are Milwall Coventry and Sunderland. Each of those were in the top 7 or 8 last season. (This is based of transfermarket.com so probably not most accurate but demostrates they have invested anyway) Ipswich have an excellent manager too and I imagine they'll do well like Coventry, Brentford, Sunderland and a few other sides have done in their maiden campaign when promoted in recent years. But I think given the strength of the league this year that it may be a step too far.

I expected a bit of an onslaught from Ipswich, momentum is still with them, they also had the run of the ball. Having said that we had a collective off day, everyone seemed to be looking to each other to galvanise but no one did. A point was achievable it was two really poor goals to concede and should have been avoided. Its okay having the flair but we have to stop gifting teams the points, all too often we did this last season and beyond. Far too open until Wes came on, tough but right decision by AN. Back home next week, the boss has a rare game free week to get into them a bit more and for all the new lads to bed in, also a couple of more signings possibly.

Are you drunk? I can't understand anything you type... have you also heard of punctuation so people can actually read what it is you're trying to say? Don’t even bother he’s a troll that mainly comes out when we lose. I don’t know why people humour him I honestly don’t

Shit happens. This team need time. It's pretty much a totally new starting xi and there was always going to be challenges along the way. We need to stay behind them.

We really could have done with a least 1pt. Our next 2 games are going to be very tough, didn't Watford & Millwall both do the double over us last season?

We need a functioning midfield and what we have got isn’t good enough or good enough for the season, never mind coping with injuries. Sorting it out should be a top priority now.

Some of his posts make me chuckle when I'm deciphering them. He's not illiterate... I think he's either winding us up with his code or he maybe has the 'occasional' tipple when he's typing. OS.

This is very good for Benji. Just that he needed a full stop after 'shining', then a capital letter for 'Just. Plus commas and spaces before ending a phrase or sentence. Well done Benji. OS.

This defeat is not too bad a thing. It will stop us being too confident about the season and we supporters now realise that bedding these new players in is going to take a while. I'm sure AN will start Monday morning with a rollicking for them for the lack of fight in a few of them and point out that they're not as good as they think they are without a lot more effort and hard work that makes a good team. Ipswich showed us how teamwork and graft really works. They're a good side and I wouldn't write them off for at least a play-off spot.
OS.

That and the need to replace Browns forward running was the big takeaway from the game for me. Morsy was better than our three combined.
