We don't need any free agents coming in, Tezgel can do the job as his replacement. Good business as this clears a route to Tezgels pathway.

He’s done very little to show that he can be consistently useful for Stoke. Waste of time really, so glad he can go. Tezgel should be given priority.

Bit disappointed with this one as I think there is a player there that would come good in a settled side playing attacking football. Obviously it’s good if that means Tezgel gets more game time.

Can’t they have Ennis?

Good news.
Was clear he was not going to put the hard work in that SS was demanding. He’s been given chances by the management and not taken them.
It was clear as day he wasn’t gong to make it, but apparently anybody who could see that was told on here that we have no idea about footballers 🤷♂️
I’m sure his no impact, no energy performance on Saturday was the last straw.

For how much I think he could be a decent player. He didn't look interested on Saturday.

Yes time to move on and let young hungry players get a go. People who appreciate the chance to put in the hard yards and play at a decent standard of football.

Saturday was clearly the last chance saloon as far as a place in the starting line up is concerned. Had to score to stand any chance of keeping Cannon out.
If that showing was all he was willing/able to offer up in terms of effort and intensity in those circumstances then what hope is there, cut and run.

Weve got plenty of options up front now, he's not needed and if we can free up a wage that would be good.

Was told last week he wants to stay and fight for his place/fitness. But not a totally reliable source.

There’s a player in there imo, but he clearly needs a run of games after missing out on a pre-season and the tail end of last season. We’ve likely given some assurances over the game time or opportunities for Koumas and Cannon to come on-loan, Schumacher’s spoken favourably of Tezgel and Gallagher’s still got the factor of being the new toy. He’s probably not going to get a run of 90 minutes between now and January, so makes sense for him to have a fresh start somewhere.
Rapid are in the UEFA Conference League and are a big club in a moderate league, it’s a good shop-window for him and also a good experience for him too.
Pretty absurd that their window is still open though!

Probably best for all concerned. For a variety of reasons it has not worked out for him at Stoke, and he will now be down the pecking order behind Cannon, Koumas & Gallagher you'd think.

Makes us weaker.
We should have let Ennis go when we had chance.
Poor on our behalf on the face of it.

He just doesn't fit Schumacher's tactics at all so best he moves on.
It means Tezgel will get more minutes and Ennis is useful off the bench in certain situations.
Koumas can cover there too so absolutely no issues from me, he's shown he's useless to us anyway.

Surely Hull are in for him? Jared is a big fan….. For all the gems he found us (Burger, Junho, Bocat), this was Jared's biggest failure.

two in one out then, yet we needed more firepower up top. Just hope Cannon stays fit or it’ll be business as usual with Gallagher and his injuries/output
Edit: managed to forget koumas! Suppose he’s actually a better option too, unless cannon means he’ll play out wide

Suppose someone who runs about and doesn't score is better than someone who doesn't run about and doesn't score. I can honestly see a place for Ennis coming on to just occupy if we're holding on. Can't say the same for Mwaee.
