Yes he's started great & scoring goals, but he isn't going to be our 20/25 goals a season player.

Just out of interest.... What was his actual injury??? This. Anyone? The lack of questioning what the injury is by the media has been particularly odd given he's single handedly the reason we aren't bottom of the league and central to our season's hopes. |

Ran his bollocks off and despite coming off an injury lay of put more effort into those 70-80 minutes than most of the wretched lot who've played all season.
My word, maturity and the right attitude in that interview. Can see plenty of interest in him come January.

Just out of interest.... What was his actual injury??? An ankle injury I believe. His ankle was on the end of one particularly heavy tackle v Millwall. But ten previous Millwall assaults on his ankle need to be taken into consideration. |

What a really nice guy Vidigal is. I'd like to see captain Laurent coming out to apologise like that. I don't recall any apologies from Neil either in his after match interview. In fact I can't recall Neil ever apologising to the fans for the vast majority of crap we have witnessed over his 13 month reign.

The one bit of genuine quality we have in the box - 5 goals in just 6 appearances is impressive enough, but even more so considering the lack of service he has been provided! Also the only player at the moment who seems
to be able or even willing to gamble in the final third, run his man and get crosses or shots off. unfortunately, the way we are heading, he will probably be off somewhere with any ambition for under what he's worth before too long.

But Let the Neil bashing roll on. I thought that it was on the record that JD had been following Vidigal back when he was scouting for Sheffield United? Obviously AN will have had the final say, but I would suggest that JD was the one that picked Vidigal out of obscurity. However, if that is the case, then JD should be questioned for some of the other members of our foreign legion that have been far less impressive. |
