Sarkic will probably still go out on loan but I'm sure they have better things to do than negotiate another deal for him after they thought it was done. I may well be over thinking it and it's seen as no big deal. |

Sarkic will probably still go out on loan but I'm sure they have better things to do than negotiate another deal for him after they thought it was done. I may well be over thinking it and it's seen as no big deal. I may have misread it but it seems it’s either down to the fact that he failed the medical or it was a failure to agree his personal terms which would seem to be down to him rather than us. 🤷♂️ I’m sure Wolves know the score and wouldn’t hold it against us. Neither he nor Wolves want to portray him as an injury prone money grubber do they as they both want him away from the club? Best to blame Stoke. I’m not saying we haven’t cynically pulled the plug when we got a sniff of Travers we may have done but it’s a very un Stoke like thing to do. I have no inside knowledge on the matter. I still don’t think it will affect any deal for Hoever or any other dealings with other clubs. It’s business at the end of the day. |

Now this is more like it. Young players on the way up Let's sign about 12 like him then shall we and see how it goes. We would be lucky if three or four made the step up. It's an exciting signing but a big gamble if he is to be the regular rb stepping up two divisions. It depends on how many you sign, you are right. However Coventry made the leap from Div2 to Champioship play offs inside 4 seasons with a bunch of largely unchanged players- some of whom would definitely have fallen into the “ young and upcoming “ category when their charge through the leagues started. We definitely need some enthusiasm and pace in the side, compared to last year’s offering, and we should take a chance on the lad. |

If he's as good as I'm lead to believe the resale potential would dwarf a quarter of a million. Or maybe the 'most competitive budget outside of the parachute clubs' was another load of bollocks? |

If these numbers are accurate, then it's all just very Stoke. It's probably all complete nonsense, but this is the problem in the world of social media. In days gone by we would've waited for the Sentinel to say someone has signed, or we would've been non the wiser we were in for a player in the first place. It's a proper double edged sword and why I try and take things with a pinch of salt..... but it's hard not to get excited and have raised expectations on rumours 😂 |
