No you dint rate either But they both finished above by some way also I don’t but MON didn’t play them, dropped them when he did then sold both. Not much he did suggested he rated either. Whether he rated them or not since they left we haven’t had anyone good enough to replace them. Let’s face it aswell mon wasn’t great either. If he had to sell them fair does but that was a big risk

For me, Adam Davies. Always been a fan, disappointed that he left. According to Transfermarkt, there is 4 pages of freebies for goalkeepers this season. There’s likely a lot more who are in their final contract years as well. Are they better than Sarkic ? If you don't know then that's not much of a case I personally think that Davies was better. Foderingham is on that list too (though I doubt that they are letting him go). Overall, Sarkic looked pretty good but I didn’t think he was amazing. For me, the four players we should look to go all out for are: target man, goalkeeper, Pearson, central defender. I see goalkeeper as the second most important signing of the summer, so I’d be far happier to see Stoke spend there than in many other positions. If Leicester are as broke as rumours are to be believed, Iverson may be available as well.

If Iversen leaves it will be for a premier club, not necessarily in England, but somewwhere where he'll stay in the sights of the national team manager. He's waited too long patiently for his chance, now that he's in the squad, he's not going to risk it by playing for a lower club.

What do you think of Sarkic Dave? Looks like he'll go on to be a decent keeper. Reminds me a bit of a young Jack Butland. I like how aggressive he is in coming for the ball, he never shuts up and whilst we haven't really seen it in games too much, in the warm ups, he does actually prove he can make a save, unlike the others who are useless. Injuries have to be a concern. I have the feeling his aggressive style may contribute to the injuries, but I agree, I like that about him!

The last good keeper we had was Butland, but not the Butland after we got relegated In fairness we had several back to back, Sorenson, Begovic, Butland and Grant were all superb People forget but Butland in the first season after relegation won us a lot of points. It was the 2nd season where he became a liability.

Yes from Bayern, every game Bayern was absolutely right. Davies was a terrible keeper, among other terrible keepers. In his one and only game for Sheff United, he had an absolute mare. It took Sheff United fans 1 game to conclude that he is the worst keeper they have ever started. So we are not the only ones to make quick judgements.

He's second choice there. Klopp would be absolutely daft if he let a back up keeper leave on loan, knowing full well that Allison can be suspended or injured, and even if recall was written into the loan contract, it would still take a fair few training sessions before he'd be ready to step in. So he stays. They do want rid though, they must be lining up a replacement I know Klopp will drive him down to any taker if he wants to leave, but I haven't heard that they specifically "do want rid" of a talented keeper. Although it would make sense for him to want out, as Allison's contract runs another five years. In that case a loan will do him no good at all, and Klopp should look to add another 25M to his dwindled budget dealings. We won't be able to help him, but he's welcome to take a drive here anyway.

Mads Andersen seems far too good for Barnsley's level next year. Might he be available?

Mads Andersen seems far too good for Barnsley's level next year. Might he be available? I frankly don't know much about him. He never played in the SL for Brøndby, although he went out on loan to a lower league team. There's been some glowing reports about him, so if he does become available, we might approach him, he's a tall cd in the Stoke mould, although I'd imagine he has his sights on a higher league somewhere. He's not a kid anymore, so it could be his last chance to move ahead.

What do you think of Sarkic Dave? Overrated by none other than Bayernoatcake Who listens to him? He would criticise the move if we signed Donnarumma or Pope. Don't know why the guy follows Stoke. Does nothing but moan and spread negativity. M

Not sure about the Barnsley keeper, I’d sign their captain though.
Looks a quality player.

I’m not saying he’s shit, I’m just saying there is plenty of room for improvement. If he does sign for us hopefully he does that. He’s aggressive for sure but maybe he needs to temper it a tad

But if there’s a better one available on a free and there probably is then we should get them.

In the stands and the stands only no actual chances resulted, not one Defenders know he's going to punch, it's fine I thought he could have done better with a couple of goals, away at Luton springs to mind Haven't seen enough to be certain but he's the best we've had since relegation probably
